Who is ready to get the pants scared off of them for the ninth time?
Ryan Murphy’s anthology series American Horror Story has dominated pop culture with its crazy twists and shocking moments for 8 seasons, and luckily the latest is coming sooner than you think.
The show’s ninth season, American Horror Story: 1984, is coming to FX on September 18th at 9 p.m. ET.
From the looks of the teaser trailer, this new season will adopt the slasher style from classic 80s films like Friday The 13th and Halloween. This is a major divergence from themes like the apocalypse, bayou witches, and a murder house, so this should be a fun and fresh season for fans.
While it’s already been announced that AHS alum Evan Peters will be sitting this season out, Emma Roberts is set to return. Olympian Gus Kenworthy will make his acting debut as Roberts’ character’s boyfriend. It is still unannounced which regular players will also be returning, but it’s safe to expect to see some familiar faces.
