Amber Heard Gets Down In The Kitchen Amid Johnny Depp Legal Battle

Amber Heard is using this time of self-isolation to perfect her skills in the kitchen. The 33-year-old actress took to social media on Wednesday and told her nearly 4 million Instagram followers that she's teaching herself how to make bread now that she has the time. The blonde bombshell posted a snap while baking, showing herself holding a knife and leaning over her perfectly round piece of dough. Opting for a black tank and tan shorts instead of an apron, Johnny Depp's ex sported a neck full of gold chains during her candlelight cooking session.
In the photo, Amber Heard is seen going completely make-up free with her wet hair back in a bun proving she's a smokeshow, even without her glam team. "Expanding on my kitchen skills," Amber Heard captioned the post. "First loaf of homemade bread to continue expanding on my waistline as well," she joked. It's great that the actress still has her sense of humor considering every A-lister from Johnny Depp's past is coming to his rescue and vouching for the "Pirates of The Caribbean" star in his ongoing defamation case with Amber Heard.

His "Pirates" co-star Javier Bardem is the most recent celebrity to speak on Johnny Depp's character, denying he's a violent person. In fact, he seemingly took a direct shot at Amber Heard and her domestic violence allegations, deeming them "lies and manipulations." Johnny Depp also has several other big-wigs in his corner including his baby mama Vanessa Paradis, Winona Ryder and Penelope Cruz. Meanwhile, Johnny Depp recently sold his Kentucky farm that's nicknamed "Betty Sue’s Family Farm" in honor of his late mother.

The sprawling 6,000-square-foot house sold for $1.3 million and has a whopping 7 bedrooms, four-car garage, a guesthouse, three barns, and 15 horse stalls. The actor initially sold the farm in 2001 for $1 million which isn't that far off from what he collected this time. The 56-year-old Kentucky native repurchased the property four years later for his mother, Sue Palmer, who lived in the home before passing away in 2016. Three days after his Sue Palmer's death, Amber Heard filed for divorce after just 15 months of marriage. Johnny Depp's defamation case in the U.K. has been put on hold due to the Coronavirus pandemic. He's set to square off with Amber Heard in his Virginia lawsuit later this year.
