Amber Heard Shares First Post Since Mother's Death, Shows Off Tiny Twin!

Amber Heard is still mourning the death of her mother, Paige, and she's spending time with her family just days after announcing her passing. The "Aquaman" actress has been quiet on social media since revealing the sad news earlier this week but she made her return to Instagram on Thursday sharing her first post since losing her mother. Showing she's reeling the death with those closest to her, which includes her younger sister, Whitney, and her toddler-aged nephew, Hunter Wylde.

Showing herself looking at ease while sitting on the steps with the blond tot, Amber Heard smiled sweetly while holding onto her nephew's tiny hand. Sporting a relaxed look, the star appeared makeup-free while wearing a plain white tee and olive green pants. She also kept her hair away from her face by placing it in a bun on the top of her head. Hunter, who appeared in his diaper and a black shirt, also rocked a bun, something his auntie playfully poked fun of in the caption.

Auntie life looks good on the "Friday Night Lights" actress and she appears to love the role. Overnight, the star's adorable post collected over 235k likes and the number only continues to grow. Amber Heard announced the death of her mother on Monday, April 4. Taking to her Instagram, the actress posted a tear-jerking tribute.

Saying she was "heartbroken and devastated beyond belief," Amber Heard stated, "She left us too early, clasping onto the memory of her beautiful, gentle soul. She will be missed from the very depths of our hearts forever." Sharing a few throwbacks with her mom, she called herself "truly lucky to have been her daughter and been given the gift of having the light she shone on everyone, fall on me for nearly 34 years." The earthshattering news comes as Amber Heard is still battling a defamation case with her ex-husband Johnny Depp. She's accused him of domestic violence, and several A-listers like Winona Ryder and Penelope Cruz have defended the "Pirates of The Caribbean" actor against the allegations. He recently thanked his fans for their support and for "staying on this long road" with him.
