Adam Sandler is reeling after the loss of his co-star and friend, Cameron Boyce.

Sandler went on Instagram Sunday morning and eulogized the young star by writing, "Too young. Too sweet. Too funny. Just the nicest, most talented, and most decent kid around. Loved that kid. Cared so much about his family."

The "Murder Mystery" star wrote that Boyce, "Cared so much about the world. Thank you, Cameron, for all you gave to us. So much more was on the way. All our hearts are broken. Thinking of your amazing family and sending our deepest condolences."

The 20-year-old star played Sandler's son in the 2010 comedy, "Grown Ups."

It seems other stars from the movie are just finding out, as David Spade commented on Sandler's IG, and was clearly in disbelief over the loss.

As we reported, Boyce died in his sleep Saturday after suffering a seizure.

His family released a statement, revealing the young star was dealing with an unknown illness.

"It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron," the Disney star's family said.

They added, "The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him."

Boyce was best known for playing Luke Ross on the Disney Channel series, "Jessie," and also as the voice of Jake on the popular Disney Junior animated show, "Jake and the Neverland Pirates."

He is also starring in Disney's "Descendants 3" as Carlos, Cruella De Vil's son.

"Descendants" is scheduled to air in November, and Boyce had been doing press leading up to the premiere.

Boyce had not spoken of his health complications, and friends and fans alike are all mourning together as they discover the star was battling an unknown illness.
