XXXTentacion’s mother has been granted a restraining order against an alleged stalker who tried to break into her home multiple times.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, XXXTenacion’s mother, Cleopatra Bernard, filed a petition for a restraining order against a 24-year-old New York man named Donavon Banton.
Bernard accused Banton of stalking the late rapper’s family and traveling to Florida multiple times in the past couple of months. She said the man came to Florida to harass her.
A judge signed off on an order of protection against stalking violence.

According to local reports, Law enforcement were called and issued a trespass warning to Banton. According to the police report, he told officers that the “victim has been playing sadistic games with him and instructing him to come to her house.”
On a trip in November, Banton made another trip to Florida to try and make contact with Bernard. He showed up to the gated community where she lives but was turned away by security.
Back in January, on his third trip, Banton said he showed up because he received “sadistic messages” from the late rapper XXXTentacion. He told officers the only way to stop the sadistic game was to contact XXXTentacion’s mother.

On the trip, Banton made a stop at a hardware store to buy a brick with “the intention of using at the victim’s home.” He then made his way to Bernard’s home and got to the front door. She ignored him at the door and he then entered through the gated back yard.
He allegedly threw the brick and shattered a rear window. He then took the brick and smashed car windows in the front.
Banton told police Bernard, “possessed him by the use of witchcraft and is using witchcraft to spiritually attack him.”

His final trip to Florida took place on January 24. He took a bus from New York to Florida to try and make contact with Bernard. He showed up to her house again and tried to enter the home. Police were called and Banton was caught in possession of a small ax, pry bar and two pairs of gloves.
He was arrested on charges of felony burglary dwelling/structure cause, possess burglary tools with intent to use, burglary/dwelling structure or conveyance armed, stalking-follow harass cyberstalk another and criminal mischief over $1000.
Banton is currently behind bars awaiting a court hearing.
Bernard recently settled a custody battle with her son's baby mama.
