Jennifer Lopez returned to NBC to host "Saturday Night Live" last night, and her opening monologue had everyone talking. The 50-year-old singer and actress took the stage in a black and white tux and toasted to the amazing year she's had, which included getting engaged to former baseball player Alex Rodriguez.

"Seriously, what I really want to say to everyone watching out there is... the best is yet to come," Lopez said. "People try to write you off, it's all BS. None of us have a shelf life. Look at me!"

"They tried to count me out so many times. But I'm still here," she continued. "I'm like a little roach, you think I'm gone for good, maybe you haven't seen me in a few months but then you go and get a glass of water in the middle of the night and boom! I got an album."

But it was her wardrobe change that really stunned viewers. She was joined onstage by the Rockettes and to sing "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" and she changed into her classic green Versace dress that she wrote to the Grammys In 2000.

"Jennifer Lopez crushing that green dress at 50 years old. Damn," one person wrote.

"I haven’t always been a JLo fan at all, but damn. First, she’s never looked prettier. That is my favorite outfit and look of hers ever. Second: her point about age is outstanding. I turn 50 in a few months and I found her honestly and pride in her survival inspired," another said.

"It’s actually so inspirational how Jennifer Lopez has taken on moment and rinsed it out for years and years. The best part is I’m not even bored of it. The dress continues to slay, she continues to look unreal," someone else commented.

"They created the google images button because so many people were searching for [Jennifer Lopez] in her 2000’s Grammys dress. QUEEN," another gushed.
