90 Day Fiancé star Jorge Nava’s estranged wife Anfisa Arkhipchenko is ready to start a new life ahead of her forthcoming divorce.
Anfisa shared the news on Instagram with a screenshot of a University of California, Santa Barbara acceptance letter. The reality star was admitted into UC Santa Barbara’s Pre-Economics and Accounting program for the Fall 2020 quarter.
She captioned the letter, “Another one” with an emoji covered with hearts. The decision to go back to school comes months before Jorge is set to be released from prison.
As The Blast previously reported, Jorge says he is ready to divorce from Anfisa after being released.
Jorge is currently serving a 2.5-year sentence in an Arizona prison. In 2018, he was sentenced for allegedly trying to sell 300 lbs. of marijuana. He was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia and the intent to transport and/or sell marijuana.
The reality star has been giving interviews from prison ahead of his release. He let the world know he was not pleased with his Anfisa. He said she was visiting him originally but slowly stopped coming. He accused her of abandoning him and finding a new boyfriend, despite her still being legally married.
The Blast
Anfisa doesn’t appear to be hiding her new romance from the world. She flaunted her new boyfriend, Leo Assaf, by posting a photo snuggled upon him.
31-year-old Jorge recently spoke with InTouch Weekly about Anfisa’s new man. He told the outlet “I wish him the best with his new relationship.
He added, “I know about him. But, I don’t know what he looks like, and I don’t really care what he looks like.” Jorge accused his estranged wife of becoming jealous of the attention he received after losing 128-lbs while behind bars.
Jorge said, “I think she was just jealous of the attention that I was getting. The news about my weight loss didn’t sit with her very well.”
