Brigitte Nielsen may not get to give the world another taste of her iconic character from the "Rocky" universe because her role in "Creed 2" has still not yet made the final cut of the movie.
Sources close to the film tell The Blast Nielsen, who played Ivan Drago's ruthless wife, Ludmilla, in "Rocky IV," spent three weeks last year in Philadelphia filming Sly Stallone's newest installment.
We're told 54-year-old Nielsen is indeed reprising her role as Mrs. Drago, but this time it is her son with Ivan who prepares to fight Adonis Creed. For anyone remotely aware of what happened in "Rocky IV," the weight of a fight between the son of Ivan Drago and son of Apollo Creed is pretty heavy.
We're told even though the movie is set to come out next month, Nielsen has not been told if her role made the final cut. The studio has been testing parts of the film in front of focus groups, but has told Nielsen's camp that the final version of the film has not yet been decided.
For now, it remains unclear if "Rocky" fans will get to see the entire Drago family when the movie premieres, but it seems based on fan support it would wise if they did.
Reps for Nielsen were unable to be reached for comment.
