Dog The Bounty Hunter's Daughter Trashes Honey Boo Boo's New Relationship

Dog The Bounty Hunter's daughter, Bonnie, is blasting fellow reality star Honey Boo Boo's new relationship saying her new boyfriend is much too old to be her man.

Bonnie Chapman took to Twitter and issued a warning to the 16-year-old reality star, saying that dating an older man is a one-way ticket to problems in adulthood. As we reported, Alana Thompson went Instagram official with her boyfriend --  20-year-old Dralin Carswell -- and immediately received backlash due to the couple's age difference.

The 'Dog The Bounty Hunter' star shared a link to a story detailing the young couple's relationship and commented, "I was in a relationship like this (I was younger and the other party was older than 20), it absolutely f---ed me up. Please do not normalize this. He’s an adult, she’s a child. Don’t care about the age of consent, she’s still a child and he’s a whole a-- adult."

At this point, Alana has not responded to her fellow reality star.

Bonnie Chapman isn't the only one questioning the situation, and a common reaction is fans saying things like, "Isn’t that illegal? This child has been thru enough trauma, for the love of God! Is her sister aware of this? Or is she back in her Mom’s custody?"

As we reported, Alana is dating Carswell who is a college student near her hometown in Georgia. "Dralin and Alana are attached at the hip and hang out together all the time,” a source told The Sun.  Adding, “He was quiet at first, but he’s like one of the family now. He’s just as fun and crazy as the rest of them.”

To answer the question, there is no legal issue with the couple's age difference. In the state of Georgia, the age of consent is 16. In other words, Alana can date anyone she wants now that she is 16-year-old. Plus, Honey Boo Boo's family is aware of the relationship and has no issue with it.

According to reports, Dralin is a car fanatic and lets his new girlfriend drive his Camero. “Right now she is saving up for her own car though — she wants a Jeep,” the outlet reported. 

Earlier this week, Thompson officially introduced her new boyfriend to the world on Instagram. The 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' star shared a photo of the couple hanging at a Pumpkin patch and captioned it, "spooky season." The post has since been deleted. But, in the picture, the couple is sporting matching t-shirts featuring a mummy wrapped in toilet paper along with the words, "That's How I Roll." BTW -- he commented on the post with just one word, "Bae."

The couple has reportedly been together for over six months if you judge by when they changed their Facebook status to in a relationship.

Again, there are legally no issues with the couple being together -- despite the four-year age difference -- and it appears Alana's new boyfriend is a good guy.
