Her Supportive Family

In March 2020, The Blast reported that the "Today Show" host has always expressed the love and support her parents have shown her and her sister over the years.

Jenna used her platform to share some words of encouragement from her father when she was stressed about balancing work and family while carrying her second baby.

That Wednesday, Jenna said her father texted her out of the blue with words that powered her through her pregnancy. She explained,

“[My father] texted me this beautiful text that was like, ‘Jen, mom told me you called and you’re worried about this — that doesn’t matter."

The 39-year-old also revealed the secret service nicknames given to her and her sibling when their father was still in the White House.

Her Father, Her Hero

In March 2020, The Blast also shared that the 39-year-old spoke of an embarrassing incident that happened to her when she was underage.

The author recalled that, at age 19, she was asked to call her father when she was caught trying to buy alcohol with a fake ID.

Being the child of the 43rd president at the time, she expected a stern punishment from her father. However, when he came to his daughter's aid, he apologized to her.

Jenna's dad said he wanted to offer his offspring the space she needed to make mistakes and grow.

He explained that it was sad that the journalist lacked such luxury by being a president's daughter. It seems that Hager and her family lead a normal life despite their prestigious family status.
