On Wednesday, Bush Hager shared the story of when she was stressed out about being pregnant and balancing other aspects of her life. Out of the blue, her father texted her words of encouragement that the host says helped her power through.

On the same show, Bush Hager and co-host Willie Geist were discussing the topic of nicknames. For Bush Hager, being the child of the president required her to have her own security detail, and thus, secret service nicknames. She divulged the monkers given to her and her sister, admitting that she wasn't too big of a fan of the one she received.

"It’s so funny, and I don’t know where this is coming from, but when you have Secret Service, you have a code name, and my sister’s code name was ‘Turquoise,’ because her eyes are really beautiful and turquoise," the mother of three revealed on the show. "[It was] 'Twinkle,' which some people got confused with 'tinkle'," she said, referring to her nickname given to her.

Bush Hager shared with Geist that she wasn't 'thrilled' with her secret service nickname and subsequently asked what her co-host which of the two choices he would prefer to be called. "Would you rather be Turquoise or Twinkle," she asked Geist. "I would’ve called you like 'Tornado,' or something like that. That would’ve been cool, like a wrestling name," he replied.

Geist, himself, weighed in on the nickname designation topic, sharing what he called his wife, Christina. In college, he said he called her 'Bubba' but wasn't exactly sure why. "I don’t remember why … [she’s] not a 'Bubba'," he said. "When you think of a 'Bubba,' it’s not Christina."

Despite all the craziness that Bush Hager deals with on a daily basis between her responsibilities on the Today Show and being a mother and wife, she still claims she's in just as much love with her husband, Henry, as she was when she first met him, at least according to what she said next.

The host shared a tribute to her husband and his unwavering affection. "Your love is like the Post-it note with stick figure drawings of ships passing that you left for me on the bathroom mirror when I returned home late. I'd been flying most of the day and I was dehydrated, and thirsty for home, for you," she said. "Your love is like that note. It is simple and solid and thoughtful."
