He also spoke more about his interaction with his wife regarding the show. He said, “We've seen the show and the times that she's seen it the way she critiques it she just feels like it's something I'd be able to win as long as I actually focus on the art form and dancing and not so much staying in my comfort zone. I'm looking to go outside my comfort zone a little bit.”
Shumpert's Dancing Debut On ‘DWTS’
Season 30 of the ABC series "Dancing With The Stars" returned with an impressive cast list which included names like JoJo Siwa, Kenya Moore, and Matt James. Shumpert also joined the cast as the athlete contestant, a common tradition for the show.
He was an unexpected addition to the show but proved to viewers that he was more than capable when the season premiere aired.
He and his pro dance partner Daniella Karagach performed the jive to the Outkast song "Hey Ya!" and impressed supporters who took to social media to express their love for the performance.
However, the judges gave the duo a score of 21, which ranked them as the second-lowest performance of the night. This score did not discourage fans who are anticipating Shumpert’s foot skills display in upcoming episodes.
We wish the basketball player all the best.
