Why Did Dave Bautista Go Into Wrestling?

As said earlier, the former professional wrestler was from a poor background and he had the responsibility to support the family even at a very tender age. He was always moving around the community, associating with different gangs, and identifying with rough mobs. In a podcast with Rosenbaum, Bautista stated that he started working out to build his physique.

When his height measured 6'5, he accessed his body and noticed that his long limbs made him look lanky. Due to this, he furthered on building his body to get a nice shape. In his late 20s, he worked in a club as a bouncer. He realized that his financial ability was poor when he couldn't get presents for his kids unless he borrowed money.

Bautista said during the podcast that when he couldn't get money to manage his family, despite having two kids then, he decided to go for wrestling. He joined the WWE brand OVW in 2000 and two years later, he was called to one of the wrestling shows where he left a long-lasting impression on many people to date.

Bautista was only three years old in the game when he became the champion of the sport, and that earned him a decent living from that moment onward.
