Dog The Bounty Hunter Finds Campsite Allegedly Linked To Brian Laundrie
By Mike Walters on September 28, 2021 at 1:52 PM EDT
Dog The Bounty Hunter says he has a solid lead to the whereabouts of Brian Laundrie and claims it is a campsite possibly connected to the suspected killer.
According to multiple reports, Duane 'Dog' Champan is on the hunt and a tip has landed him at a campsite where Brian was spotted as recently as Saturday, and the reality star is on the scene. The Dog claims Brian's parents were at the campsite and TWO reservations were made under their name from September 1-3 and September 6-8.
The Laundries were seen driving with a small camper, so it's believed this is where they went. The only issue is...it's unclear if Brian was ever with him. So, Dog contacted authorities and made his way to the campground after he got word Brian WAS spotted at the same location over the weekend. The reality star is headed to the Fort DeSoto Park area to continue tracking the lead himself.
Is Dog The Bounty Hunter On The Right Track?!
As you know, Dog has been in the Florida woods tracking down leads associated with the case. At this point, Chapman has his new wife, Francie, investigated the situation at the campground and believes he has gathered proof of Brian's parents being at the location. It's unclear exactly what the new evidence is in this case. But, it's possible Dog is being led on a bad tip, similar to the trail hiking footage that turns out to be a lookalike in Canada.
As we reported, the new tip comes on the heels of Brian's parents calling 911 on Dog The Bounty Hunter after he showed up announced to their home. Dog called it a "shame" the family wouldn't work with him on bringing their son in alive. "It's a shame they wouldn't speak with us," Dog said. Explaining he doesn't think things will end well if the suspect is brought in by authorities.
Duane 'Dog' Chapman Claims To Have Evidence Connecting Brian's Parents To Campground
"The police said we were welcome to knock on the door so we did. I wanted to tell the Laundries that our goal is to find Brian and bring him in alive," he continued. Adding, “The dad can still reach out to me, through social media, let’s get the kid captured alive. Alive."
At this point, it's unclear if Dog has moved on to a different location or is continuing to sniff around the campsite, but either way, he is continuing to field tips from his personal tipline. Chapman is still asking fans and followers to reach out to 833-TELLDOG and has a team of people checking the messages every ten minutes. Also, he wants to make sure everyone knows any call will be kept completely anonymous.
Dog The Bounty Hunter Gets Leads From His Own Personal Tipline
Brian Laundrie is being accused of killing his 23-year-old fiancee, Gabby Petito, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
The Petito family broke their silence on the case, during a press conference, where their attorney started by saying, "Gabby Petito was a beautiful woman. Her infectious smile and love of life made people gravitate toward her. She loved life and experiences. She was the bright light in everyone’s life who knew her."
The manhunt is ongoing.
