Miguel & Nazanin Mandi Break Up: They 'Have Been Separated For Some Time Now'

Singer Miguel and his partner Nazanin Mandi are over. The couple who has been together for 17 years have decided to part ways. They revealed the unfortunate news exclusively to People.

The former couple shocked fans when they finally got married in 2018 after 10 years together, two of those spent engaged. “After 17 years together, Miguel and Nazanin Mandi have decided to separate and have been for some time now,” the rep for the exes shared with the publication.

“The couple both wish each other well,” ended the brief announcement. The duo, both 35 met on the set of one of the singer's earlier works.

Mandi shared the cute story of how they met and made things official. She had asked the “Adorn” singer if he had a girlfriend to which he responded, “No, but I’m looking for one,” how do you turn down someone as smooth as that?

Mandi went on to describe their relationship as “one hell of a ride.” The breakup is unfortunate, but the artists have projects that can distract them through this tough time. Miguel released an EP earlier this month called San At Sunset.

Mandi is mostly known for being the partner of the sultry singer, but she has her own greatness going on. She is a model and an actress who has modeled for Rihanna’s Fenty lingerie line. She and her ex-husband actually kind of performed on stage together. She modeled and he sang her down the runway.

Mandi gushed about the opportunity and her official role as Brand Ambassador for Savage X Fenty. “I’m honored to work with a brand that celebrates diversity and in such an authentic way. I’m BEYOND thrilled.”

The influencer prides herself on how she utilizes her platform to raise awareness and felt that the Fenty brand was a great example of a band doing the same. “My look is Mythical, Creative, Sexy … every piece was custom made including the flower lash.”

In March. Mandi shared with Hollywoodlife.com that she has a few out-of-the-ordinary projects coming out soon. “I also have a book coming out,” she shared after revealing a few modeling gigs. “My life coaching platform, my own lingerie line, and sexual wellness line.” Yeah, it sounds like they both have a lot going on.

Since the announcement, the couple has not posted much on their social media pages. Their last posts were work-related and personal. Mandi shared a few stunning shots from a photoshoot. Miguel posted a collage of pictures showing love to his family and friends.

“It’s the people not the place,” he captioned the series of photos.  A quick browse shows no signs of Mandi. However, according to the statement, the couple has ended things on “good terms”. A good indicator of that is the sweet birthday message the singer posted on IG for Mandi only two weeks ago. “Happy birthday to the most beautiful woman inside and out @nazaninmandi.”

Meanwhile, fans are using these last posts to send well wishes to the couple regarding their shocking breakup.
