'Jersey Shore' Star Mike 'The Situation' Calls Police On Brother For Trespassing

Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino called the police on his own brother after he showed up at the reality star's home unannounced bearing gifts for his new son. Let us explain...
According to multiple reports, the 'Jersey Shore' star called 911 after his brother, Maximo, showed up at his New Jersey home with a handful of gift bags for his newborn son, Romeo. Obviously, it is his nephew, and it seems odd that Mike would call the cops on his own family.
Apparently, Maximo arrived at the home and "excessively rang multiple doorbells" and peered inside through the glass. After lingering for a while, he placed a host of presents on the doorknob and left the house. Again, it doesn't seem like anything you would call the cops over, but there is much more to the story.
'Jersey Shore' Star Has Problematic History With His Brother
The 'Jersey Shore' star and his bother have had problems for years, and it has become a bit of a legal situation. Sorrentino has filed harassment claims against Maximo, most recently in July, because he believes his brother has been behaving erratically and wants to know exactly when his brother is showing up at his home.
According to Mike's representatives, he was watching his brother from inside the home and instantly called the cops, who showed up less than a minute later. After the police arrived, they confronted Maximo who was on his way off of the property and told him he wasn't allowed there unless he was specifically invited.
Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino Says He Was Just Protecting His Family
At this point, Mike believes his main priority is to protect his wife and child, even if there is family involved. The reality star believes Maximo crossed the line by showing up unannounced to his home. Plus, although he did call the cops, he didn't want his brother arrested, he was just protecting himself.
Unfortunately, Maximo claims he was just dropping off a few Puma BMW tracksuits for Mike and Romeo and is saddened by the fact that his brother would call the police on him. If the tables were turned, Max claims he would never call authorities on his brother, and denies there is anything going on between them. Obviously, if that is true, these guys have a lot to talk about at Thanksgiving dinner.
Working It Out?!
Either way, Maximo agreed to never show up at the house again without calling Mike and his wife and giving them the heads up.
As we reported, Mike and Lauren Sorrentino welcomed their first child -- Romeo -- in May of this year. His famous parents launched an Instagram page for him, saying, “IT’S OFFICIAL – I’M A BABY BOY! My parents were waiting to see if they could host my first party for the reveal but because of the C-word, they decided to be safe, most especially for me, and host it virtually!”
It continued, "Please share all your baby boy advice & favorite places to shop for cute baby clothes as my Mama cannot wait to shop for me! Mama & Daddy are thrilled and Mama is about to start full-on nursery planning! See you guys next week.”
