Nicole Kidman stopped by “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday. September 21, and the two took multiple trips down memory lane.

Where to begin with the awkwardness?

Well, let’s begin with Jimmy congratulating Nicole and her husband, Keith Urban, recently celebrating their 15-year-anniversary.

The Australian natives first met in 2005 in Los Angeles while attending the “G’Day USA Gala,” which is an event honoring Australians in LA.

“I remember thinking, I had such a crush on him, and he wasn’t interested in me,” Kidman told Ellen DeGeneres in 2017. “It’s true! He didn’t call me for four months.”

The couple exchanged wedding vows in June 2006 in a romantic ceremony in Manly, Australia.

So, how did the country crooner and Oscar-winning actress celebrate 15 full years of wedded bliss?

Not with a surprise party, I’ll tell you that.

“I don’t like a surprise party,” Nicole revealed. “It’s too… I had a surprise party once and I broke out in a cold sore on the spot from the shock. I literally did. It was too stressful. It was like I was seeing… it was apparitions. It was bizarre. I didn’t like it at all.”

Fallon followed up saying, “Every now and then, I like a surprise, but not a big one, it has to be a small one. I feel like it’s like I’m tricking someone or something and I don’t like to do that, so I feel weird. I don’t like surprises. I like to know what’s happening.”

He then added that while he likes to know what’s happened he’ll still ‘act surprised.’

“Yes, we know that,” Nicole quipped.

Fallon clearly felt the heat that zinger had on it and started blotting his face with his script.

Fallon is notorious for over-exaggerating EVERY emotion when talking to a guest.

The “Moulin Rouge” actress added, “Did I just burn you?”

Yes, yes you did. Well done!

But Nicole wasn’t done with the burns just yet.

When the question of ‘Would you do a duet album with Keith’ came up, she shot that down real quick.

The country singer currently has a residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

“He’s playing Vegas right now,” the proud wife said.

Fallon responded, “Is he really? He’s unbelievable.”

To which Nicole responded, “Yeah. Which is why I couldn’t be with you because I chose him.”

Now, if you didn’t know, many moons ago Nicole had a crush on Fallon.

Back in 2015, the actress revealed to Fallon on his talk-show that she ‘liked’ him.

“So Rick, our mutual friend, says ‘Oh, Jimmy wants to meet you and you can go over to his apartment and da,da,da,da.' And I’m single and I’m like, ‘Yeah, okay cool.’"

Nicole ended up going to his apartment, Fallon put on a video game and it was just all around ‘BAD’ according to the actress.

“After about an hour-and-a-half I thought, ‘He has no interest. This is so embarrassing,’” Nicole said.

Fallon clearly didn’t pick up on her cues and totally lost his chance at dating Nicole.
