TikToker Explains What Started The Fist Fight During Olivia Rodrigo Concert

Olivia Rodrigo’s set at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas drew in quite the crowd.

Over the weekend, Rodrigo took the iHeart Radio stage to perform her most popular songs, and while a majority of the crowd was ‘ooing’ and ‘aahing’ at her sweet, sweet vocals, there were some concert-goers throwing fists.

A video that has now gone viral on TikTok shows two women getting into an argument right before one of the women starts throwing punches.

A young lady in a white cardigan and a woman in a black tank top can be seen angrily exchanging words. The woman in the tank top pushes the girl in the white cardigan and that’s when all hell broke loose.

Cardigan lady lunged toward tank top woman and started throwing punches at the back of her head.

A guy in a patterned button-up t-shirt comes from behind the woman in the cardigan and pulls her away in an attempt to deescalate the situation.

While the cause of the fight was unknown for hours after the video went viral, we now have some answers.

A TikToker by the name fww.shelli was in the crowd where the fight broke out. She’s now explaining how everything got out of hand.

“This is the story time to the fight that happened at the Olivia Rodrigo concert. A mom and her 8-year-old daughter were at the concert,” she explained. “She was telling me and my boyfriend her daughter was a big fan of Olivia Rodrigo. There was this girl in the white cardigan who had this bench chair thing and the mom kept asking her nicely if her daughter could stand on it.”

Fww.shelli explains the woman in the white cardigan wasn’t using the bench to sit or stand on, she was just resting her foot on it.

“When the mom asked her if she could stand on the chair she was being rude about it, and she was saying like she doesn’t care and she was just being rude about it,” the TikToker continued.

This is where things started to unravel.

According to fww.shelli, the woman in the white cardigan threw a smoothie in the other woman's face while the 8-year-old daughter was on her shoulders.

She continued, “So then they started fighting and it was so obvious the white cardigan girl initiated the fight and then my boyfriend’s dad stopped the fight. Security didn’t really do anything and nothing really happened after.”
