There was a time that Conor McGregor was actually a feared and respected UFC fighter. Unfortunately in the last few years, success in the ring has been hard to come by for the Irishman as he has lost all but one of his matches in the octagon since his 2017 boxing match with Floyd Mayweather. That hasn’t stopped him though from remaining one of the highest-paid athletes in the world every year for the last few years. McGregor announced that he’d be producing his own docuseries for Netflix. The project is set to help him remain at the top of those earnings lists. As well as, help remembers the good old days when he was dominant in the ring.
What We Can Expect To See
Conner had already pretty much revealed that he was working on a docuseries in a July tweet. Where he mentioned that he would be producing a 4 part documentary. Each of the parts being one hour long. At the time though there was no mention of who he was working on the project with. Today it seems that Netflix is going to be the company behind the project. With McGregor potentially sticking to his idea of producing the 4-hour series.
All you pull out merchants wouldn’t last 13 seconds in my world.
My 4 part Netflix docuseries coming soon has the entire bts.
I’m gonna title it “Mad Mac’s: Fury Road” pic.twitter.com/nNNShC8mfo

Netflix Has Yet To Confirm
McGregor is even giving potential release dates for the program. Saying that he expects at least the first episode to be available by Christmas. Netflix on the other hand, has not made the partnership oficial. Again, on his part McGregor is like a kid who can’t hide his enthusiasm. Even saying that he is currently under contract with the streaming company.
“I’ll be executive producer on the project. I’m contractually locked into 4, 1 hour episodes that I’ve to produce right now for Netflix,”
He Is Planing On Fighting Again
As we mentioned, the tail end of McGregor’s career has been way less successful than his prime years. The last time that we saw him in the octagon he ended up losing by TKO because he broke his leg in a gruesome way. Still, Conor seems pretty determined to at least put in another appearance in the octagon before he ultimately calls it quits. He’s been highly active on Twitter potentially teasing a fight against YouTube star turned boxer Logan Paul. Nothing has materialized on that front yet.

Speaking of Fights
The headlines that Conor McGregor has made in the last few years have had more to do with his fights outside the octagon than inside. Just a couple of days back, McGregor, still rocking a cane while nursing the broken leg, got in an argument with Machine Gun Kelly at the VMAs. Rumors surrounding the incident indicate that the discussions started because Megan Fox’s boyfriend refused McGregor’s request for a picture. The two have since made their peace. With McGregor allegedly extending an invite to Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox to his next fight. That rumor also would confirm that Conor is looking to get back in the cage!
