Bam Margera In Danger of Losing Custody of Son, Wife Makes Legal Move

Bam Margera may be forced into monitored visitation with his son after his wife made a legal move for full custody.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, Nicole Margera filed a custody petition in regard to the 3-year-old son she shares with Bam, Phoenix Wolf. In her filing, made in L.A. County Superior Court, Nicole is requesting both sole legal and physical custody of Phoenix. She is also requesting that Bam be allowed supervised visitation.

"I request that visitation (parenting time) be supervised for the following persons, with the following restrictions," the documents state. Nicole is also requesting that the supervision be, "With a professional monitor to be selected by Respondent, but approved by Petitioner‚ at Respondent's sole expense." She would like all supervised visits with Bam to take place in Los Angeles.

It's currently unclear what triggered Nicole's filing, but escalating public episodes with Bam have no doubt played a part in her decision to look out for the safety of her child.

To be clear, Nicole Margera is not filing for a split with Bam – and is making it clear in her documents that she is still married to the former "Jackass" star.

Bam and Nicole were married back in October 2013 during a private ceremony held in Reykjavík, Iceland. Nicole was previously an actress before hooking up with Bam.

The last few years have not been easy for the two, as Nicole has been the subject of ridicule and public berating by Bam while he navigated his journey through mental health and addiction.

Although she has been the main target of much of Bam's verbal abuse and tirades, Nicole has stayed supportive of her "Jackass" star husband and appears to have tried to keep the family unit intact.

Most recently, Bam has been on a very public tirade against his former friends and co-workers on the "Jackass" franchise, who excluded him from participating in the newest film after failing to stay sober.

After multiple social media posts and rants, restraining orders were filed against Bam by those who feared he may escalate the situation.

The filing by Nicole Margera has not yet been ruled on by a judge, and no doubt Bam will have something to say about it.
