Move over Kanye West and Drake, because Zayn Malik is here to serve up some fresh BEEF.
The British singer just shocked fans with some new tracks that are far of the beaten path of his usual music.
Last Sunday, September 12, the former One Direction singer mysteriously tweeted a link to a Dropbox folder under the name YELLOW TAPE and fans were pleasantly surprised to find the new tracks inside titled “Grimez,” “Believe Me” and “47 11.”

The last time his fans got new music was in January after he released his “Nobody is Listening” album.
As of now, all three of his solo albums have been R&B-led, so the rap tracks are an unexpected but pleasant surprise.
Zayn held nothing back on the tracks seemingly taking aim at Simon Cowell, the Queen of England and Kanye.
Cowell formed One Direction back in 2010 on “The X Factor.”
The very beginning of One Direction!
The two have a messy history and as many fans know, Zayn does not look back at his time in the boy band fondly.
Zayn explained he left due to ‘creative restraint.’
Cowell has gone on to call Zayn’s comments about One D ‘rude’ among other things.
So now, the “Pillow Talk” singer is getting his revenge.
On 'Believe Me', it appears he raps about his time working with Cowell rapping, “Glad we left Syco,” which is the music label that managed One Direction.

And he left no room for doubt elsewhere in the same song where he seemingly goes after the Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II, rapping, “F*** the Queen and basically all you get is silence from her Majesty.”
The hostility toward the Queen could have come from his 2012 experience meeting her Royal Highness along with the rest of his former bandmates.
That’s still to be determined.
Zayn seems to take a shot at Kanye on the track “Grimez” in a very unusual way.
He raps, "F*** Kanye, beat him by farting."
Well, that’s pretty straightforward. Does this mean we need a fart-off now?
I digress.
Fans pointed out the tracks were dropped on exactly12 years after Kanye infamously interrupted Taylor Swift at the MTV VMAs.
Zayn and Taylor collaborated in 2017 on “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” and they have remained friendly towards one another since then, especially given that his girlfriend Gigi Hadid is besties with Taylor.
So, here we are in 2021 amid an ongoing pandemic and Zayn beat Kanye by farting.
What’s next?
