Last weekend, Kristen Stewart attended the Venice Film Festival to publicize her latest movie “Spencer.” The actress has since returned to New York City and was recently enjoying a hangout with girlfriend Dylan Meyer.
The couple stepped out for iced lattes and took a stroll. They chatted with one another in the SoHo vicinity of New York.
Stewart was dressed in a white crop top that showed her belly button, paired with faded blue jeans and black leather creepers.
She was also adorned in a black baseball cap, rose-tinted sunglasses, and a silver chain necklace with a padlock pendant.
Meanwhile, Meyer had on a black blouse and short pencil plaid skirt, white high-top sneakers, and a pair of round black sunglasses.
The Beginning Of This Romance
This romance story first made headlines back in August 2019, when photos of the two kissing in New York City surfaced online.
The couple didn’t go public with their status until October that year, when Meyer posted this photo on Instagram confirming the new relationship.
Apparently, they met on the set of a movie and reconnected at a mutual friend’s birthday party six years later. Stewart disclosed some months into their steaming romance that she “can't f***ing wait" to propose.”
"I wanna be somewhat reasonable about it, but I think good things happen fast," she said on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show last November.
“I can't say right now because she'll find out. I have a couple plans that are just the coolest things to do that I don't think … I think it's pretty undeniable,” she added.
The relationship is so intertwined that they sometimes share social media accounts. Stewart who does not have any public social media accounts of hers took over her girlfriend's profile in September to urge fans saying; “vote for your f***ing lives.”
Are They Engaged?
Since the beginning of their relationship, the lovers are most times seen out and about in Los Angeles, and rumor already has it that they might get married very soon.
Although at this moment, no official announcement has been made yet, but Stewart hasn’t stopped gushing about being head over heels in love with her partner. She seems genuinely excited about the relationship.
For Stewart’s birthday in April this year, Meyer wished her cute felicitations by posting a black-and-white photo of the actress with their dog, sitting next to the ocean.
“Life sure is sweeter with this cute little family," she wrote. "Happy birthday, kiddo. You knock my socks off,” she captioned the photo.

Eagle-eyed fans quickly noticed a shiny new ring on Stewart’s finger. Could it be an engagement ring? Maybe we will find out soon!
Living A Life With No Labels
Stewart dated producer Alicia Cargile back in 2014 and only dated females ever since. The actress however does not like the labels that come with her new sexuality.
“The first time I ever dated a girl, I was immediately being asked if I was a lesbian. And it’s like, ‘God, I’m 21-years-old,” she told InStyle magazine in 2020.
“I think the added pressure of representing a group of people, of representing queerness, wasn’t something I understood then. Only now can I see it. Retrospectively, I can tell you I have experience with this story.”
“But back then, I would have been like, ‘No, I’m fine. My parents are fine with it. Everything’s fine.’ That’s bullshit. It’s been hard. It’s been weird. It’s that way for everyone,” she concluded.
