Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino is sharing updated photos of his newborn baby son, and let's just say he already has down the signature hair of his father's crew!
The 'Jersey Shore' star took to Instagram and posted several new pictures of his son, Romeo Reign, where it's clear the little guy is following in his father's footsteps with a little GTL (Gym, Tan, Laundry.)
"Baby Sitch wants all the smoke today," Sorrentino captioned the precious pictures.
In the snaps, baby Romeo is chilling inside of his crib and sporting a grey and white sweatsuit. In the photos, you can see the baby is starting to grow in his baby fohawk, which is working without having to borrow any product from uncle Pauly D!
Of course, fans are going crazy over the pictures, with one point out -- "I don't even believe how beautiful this baby is..." Another added, "He's getting long. My baby boy grew 6 inches in these first 4 months. Great job Sorrentinos love following the journey."
Many commenters on Instagram agreed with this reaction, "OMG he is a spitting image of you!"
As you know, Mike and his wife -- Lauren Sorrentino -- welcomed their baby boy in May of 2021. The couple has continued to take 'Jersey Shore' fans on a journey of the little guy's life, including pictures and updates on social media. "So in love," Lauren wrote after announcing Romeo's birth on IG.
At the time, Mike's fellow reality stars flooded the comments in reaction the big day, with Pauly D writing "Welcome to the family Romeo!!!!! Can't wait to meet ya" and Deena Cortese added, "Love you all so much!!!! [My son] Cameron can't wait to meet his bestie."
The new parents discussed the baby's unique name in the weeks leading up to his birth, with Mike saying, "Obviously, when we finally reveal it, you’ll be like, ‘Yeah, we would think the Situations would name their kid [that], it's a very strong name." Lauren added, "It’s very unique and something we both love. It does have a special meaning. … We did have, like, three top names that we loved, and the first two were just not sticking. This third one was like, ‘That’s it.'”
In the past, Mike and Lauren revealed details of what they are going to teach their young son...especially if he comes across watching his father on "Jersey Shore." During a podcast, Mike said his son could watch the reality show to witness his past mistakes but agreed they're "not going to show that right away."
"If you look back on your life and our life together, you don’t have to say don’t do drugs, they’re bad or you know, don’t do this — you could be like listen I tried this and this was the result and you can actually share these stories,” his wife said.
“Decisions are really key and we’ve spoken about that many, many times throughout many episodes of this podcast but calculating a good decision is probably one of the main things that I will teach my son,” Situation explained. Adding, "So that he’s able to process his own decisions. If I tell him don’t do this that doesn’t mean he’s going to listen to me but he has to go through almost a risk assessment tool in his brain."
