Hailee Steinfeld Debuts New Blonde Hair At The 2021 Met Gala & Social Media Can't Get Enough

Hailee Steinfeld showed off her new hairstyle at this year’s Met Gala, and fans couldn’t stop gushing at her new look!

The Hawkeye star was another celebrity to make a lot of impact on the red carpet last night, and it's not very surprising.

She ditched her dark locks for platinum at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala on Monday night, surprising viewers as she rocked her new blond bob and light eyebrows to match.

Hailee is no stranger to the event. She has been dazzling fans year after year with her stunning ensembles. This year, she stepped out in a glittering beige slip dress with large petal-shaped panels that ran up to her neck. According to People, the sexy piece was from Iris Van Herpen.

The garment was sheer, with the fabric blending into her complexion. Her chest was covered by the panels, obscuring the vital areas. A glimpse of her taut tummy was visible, and her toned pins were on full display as the dress was too short.

Hailee completed her look by wearing a pair of Jimmy Choo platforms that boasted a light golden hue. As for her accessories, she wore several minimalist rings and nothing else.

A few hours before, The Pitch Perfect 2 actress took to her Instagram stories and posted all of her Met Gala looks through the years, starting with her lace-embroidered asymmetrical dress by Stella McCartney in 2011. Next was her 2012 elegant Miu Miu piece, followed by a Donna Karan original in 2013, and so on. Hailee ended the throwback pics by posting a glimpse of her current dress with a note that said, "see you soon year 10.”

Her fans went pretty wild on Twitter as soon as pictures hit the internet, which was to be expected after how much effort she put into this whole look.

For the after-party, Hailee went with another sexy number that had a similar style to her main outfit. Although, the garment was adorned with big sequin-like decors in shades of purple. It had long sleeves but was sheer and a short hem that ended on her upper thighs.
