Andre 3000 who maintains a strict distance from the press has shared his opinion on the tracked that Drake Leaked. “Life of the Party” was meant to be on Kanye West’s tenth studio album DONDA but it, unfortunately, didn’t make the cut. ‘I Was Inspired’

“A few weeks ago Kanye reached out about me being a part of the Donda album,” shared Andre, who notes that he was “inspired” speaking with West. “It felt appropriate to me to support the Donda concept by referencing my own mother, who passed away in 2013. We both share that loss.”

However, the “Hey Ya” rapper points out that at the time, the album was not a diss album. “I thought it was a beautiful choice to make a clean album but, unfortunately, I didn’t know that was the plan before I wrote and recorded my verse.”

As For That Drake Problem

The rapper states that he eventually realized that his “clean” verse was not appropriate for the direction that West was going in. “Sadly, I had to be omitted from the original album release.”

Andre 3000 also pointed out that he had no idea that a feud between Drake and West was brewing. In fact, he points out that the track he received and wrote to did not feature a diss verse and was hoping to offer something “focused” for DONDA.

“But I guess things happen like they are supposed to,” says the rapper, shrugging off the obviously upsetting release.

On a personal note, Andre 3000 addressed the problem between West and Drake noting that it is hard to watch. “It’s unfortunate that it was released in this way and two artists that I love are going back and forth.”

West and the “Laugh Now, Cry Later” rapper have been taking jabs at one another. In addition, to throwing shots at one another’s dueling albums. The rappers are getting personal too, West leaked Drake’s Toronto address on social media.

Drake is not above the “Ghost Town” rapper. He trashed West on Trippie Redd’s single “Betrayal” and laughed basically in the rapper’s face when his leaked address prank failed.

Andre 3000 is on a different vibration from most rappers. So, when he claims he isn’t with the drama, he isn’t kidding. He just wants to make music with a few dope artists. “I wanted to be on Certified Lover Boy too.” He says referencing Drake’s new album.

However, that didn’t work out. “I just want to work with people that inspire me.” Thankfully, other great rappers are working on projects and the “Ms. Jackson” rapper wants in. He is putting that out into the universe! “Hopefully I can work with Kendrick on his album. I’d love to work with Lil’ Baby, Tyler, and Jay-Z. I respect them all.”

Let’s throw some positivity behind those tracks hopefully happening.
