Drake Fans Litter Signs All Over Ye's Childhood Home After Leaked Address Controversy

The beef between Kanye West and Drake has just gone one step further. A few ambitious fans took it upon themselves to leave some obnoxious signs at the childhood home of the rapper who just dropped his long-awaited DONDA album. Phots surfaced this weekend on Twitter of three signs strategically placed on the steps leading up to the front door of the Chicago-based home that West bought back a short time ago. The sign's hateful words seem to indicate that West, should not be starting anything with the Young Money rapper.

The first sign closest to the door read “4544 Burnt Out”, the second sign, halfway down the stairs read “F**k Justin Laboy”. The former basketball player has been hyping up West’s album since late July and was one of the first people to hear the album while in the studio with West. He went on to become somewhat of an unofficial spokesperson for the DONDA album, dishing out information at what seemed like as soon as West would share it with him. The final sign read “CLB coming soon” with CLB standing for Drakes also highly anticipated album Certified Lover Boy. The album was allegedly supposed to drop in late August, but fans believe that the Toronto-born rapper decided to push it back.

Why all the hostility? Drake’s fans are just taking shots back at West on his behalf after the rapper posted his Toronto address on social media. The signs further back that up as Drake’s verse on Trippie Redd’s single “Betrayal” referenced the rapper's age and that of rapper Pusha T “45, 44 Burnt Out”, and him being too old to be engaging in beefs with the younger generation. The exact same thing the first sign says. Luckily for West, the “Marvin’s Room” rapper lives in a gated community with security, so no one was able to enter the million-dollar home and cause any damage. Furthermore, to burn West’s petty attempt at revenge, the rapper who was also recently featured on Nicki Minaj’s “Seeing Green”, posted a video of himself cruising around town and laughing.

Drake sure knows how to get under the “Monster” rapper’s skin; this whole thing apparently started because West found out that his maybe-working-it-out-almost-ex-wife Kim Kardashian had sex with Drake. Something that may be safe to assume no one would be surprised if it was true. Currently, fans are debating whether this is considered vandalism, but one thing is for sure, they agree that they shouldn’t be “on his mama steps like dat”. The disrespect is real. Fans also agreed that the choice of “vandalism” or whatever you want to call it, is “weird AF”.

Drake is correct in saying that West is too old to be engaging in a rap beef, but the fellow rapper is in his mid-thirties and has a son that he’s an automatic role model for so, pot…kettle… black and all that. Plus, there is room in the rap world for a Drake and a Kanye West. Now we just have to get West to stop sending Drake threatening text messages with the promise of no “recovery”.
