'Vampire Diaries' Fans Still Want Nina Dobrev With Ian Somerhalder's 'Damon'

Eight years has passed since the "Vampire Diaries" cast finished filming, but its fanbase cannot get over a lot of things from the series. From the amazing and dysfunctional brotherhood between Stefan and Damon, to the unusual spark turned relationship between Damon and Nina, then the wholesome and beautiful friendship between Damon and Bonnie Bennett, fans cannot get over these incredible cast.

More importantly, fans are still talking about Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev), who took their on-screen relationship to the real world, and contributed to a widespread sadness, when they announced that they had split. Some conjectures formed on social media believed that this failed relationship eventually led to the end of the series as the duo could no longer work together.

Although both parties have since moved on to other people, especially Dobrev, fans are still stuck in their romance that took place from 2010 to 2013, as they would always choose the Damon and Elena's ship.

The post featured several goofy photos of Dobrev sticking out her tongue to lick the athlete with huge smiles on their faces.
