The 24-year-old Vine star passed away on April 11, as confirmed by his brother on social media.

Adam first gained attention on the former platform back in 2015 when he shared the hilarious skit in his boxers, garnering over 20 million loops in one year and spawned many parodies and remixes.

From there, he created a series of humorous videos and popularized the hashtag #whiteteen, in which he gained almost 300,000 followers before the platform tanked.

Sadly, his twin brother, Patrick Perkins, announced on Instagram he had lost his brother on April 11. At the time of his statement, Patrick did not reveal Adam’s cause of death.

Patrick shared a black-and-white portrait to his Instagram page, telling fans, “I can't even really put into words what this loss means for me. I’m often asked the question, ‘What’s it like to be a twin?’ and my response is usually, ‘What’s it like to NOT be a twin?’”

Patrick’s statement continued, “Being a twin is a very central part of my identity. It’s all I've known. And I’m struggling to find the words to explain what it will be like for me to live in this world without him. My best friend.”

In Adam’s honor, Patrick released his album “Latch Relay” on limited edition vinyl. Patrick’s goal was to continue his twin’s music legacy and destiny.

He ended his statement, “I love you, my best friend Adam, 1997-forever.”

New information has now come out surrounding Adam’s cause of death.

In a report obtained by E! News, drugs played a part in Adam’s death.

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner found that he died of accidental "multiple drug intoxication," according to a July 7 autopsy report.

According to E!, the substances found in his body were fentanyl—a powerful opioid pain reliever, flualprazolam—a tranquilizer, mitragynine—a psychoactive ingredient of the botanical substance kratom, ethanol—alcohol, and cocaine, which the coroner wrote Adam had taken not long before his death.

Patrick has not issued a statement regarding the news.

Rest in Peace, Adam.
