Italian fashion brand Liu Jo is suing Kendall Jenner for allegedly skipping a photoshoot. In court documents filed this week, the brand claims to be upset with Jenner who signed a contract to work with the company. She supposedly signed on for two shoots but only showed up for one. The brand now claims they have “suffered considerable financial harm and damages” due to Jenner bailing on the second shoot. It was meant to be a fall/winter shoot but because she didn’t show up, they have allegedly been screwed over to the tune of $1.8 million.
‘Breached The Agreement’

In the legal documents, Liu Jo claims that already paid Jenner 1.35 million for the shoot that she did not show up for. “Ms. Jenner has breached the Agreement by failing to meet her obligations under the Agreement and no payments have, as yet, been refunded to Liu Jo by Ms. Jenner,” claimed the lawyers via court documents. Liu Jo has worked with several high-profile models in the past and have not deal with anything like this. The reps for the brand also claimed that they tried on several occasions to re-schedule the shoot but Jenner, nor anyone from her camp has responded.
This Doesn’t Look Good For Kendall

The Keeping Up With The Kardashian star is no stranger to controversy, this year alone she has been wrapped up in a few scandals including being accused of cultural appropriation because of her 818 tequila brand. The model shared a series of photos that showed her engaging with tequila farmers in Mexico. She wore a pair of jeans, braids, a cowboy hat, and an oversized shirt. She rode on a horse and posed for several other photos. Followers were confused at why Jenner was like a “delivery person”. Unfortunately, fans had to remind her that dressing the part doesn’t mean she is apart of something. After the backlash the 25-year-old disabled her comments
Fyre Fest

The model was also ordered to pay $90,000 in a lawsuit that claimed she willingly promoted Fyre Fest knowing it was essentially a hoax. Jenner along with several other influencers were paid $250,000 to promote the now scandalized event. Se also doubled down on the event and announced that her G.O.O.D Music family would be making an appearance at the festival. Giving hope to fans that Kanye West would show up with his army of talked AF musicians. As we all know, this never came to fruition and the hole ordeal blew up in her face and all those who were involved. “This conduct demonstrates a clear lack of good faith on Jenner’s part,” said the lawyers involved with the lawsuit at the time.
Forever Unbothered

The perpetually unbothered Jenner is yet to comment on the lawsuit in fact, she is so unbothered that she continues to go against the grain. Jenner has been flooding her followers with content about her tequila brand and other modeling gigs that she did show up like her Vogue Spain cover shoot where she shared a photo dump of a few aesthetically pleasing shots. She even took the time to promote a whitening toothpaste while in her towel at what fans assume is her home. It may be safe to assume that the toothpaste company did not pay her $1.8 million but she also didn’t have to leave her home to promote.
