Candace Owens is doubling down on her claims about Erika Kirk’s marriage to Charlie Kirk, saying she does not believe their relationship was ever “real” and that she is now completely “firm” on the assertion.
Owens has also placed Erika at the center of broader allegations about Charlie’s private life, while insisting he had been “targeted.”
Elsewhere, Erika recently received an unexpected apology after being caught up in the White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting scare in April.
Candace Owens Doubles Down On Erika Kirk Marriage Claim
Candace Owens is once again putting Erika Kirk at the center of her latest claims about Charlie Kirk’s private life.
During the Thursday, June 25, episode of her “Candace” podcast, Owens doubled down on her belief that Charlie’s marriage to Erika was not what it appeared to be publicly.
“I do not believe, and I want to be clear here, that his relationship with Erika Kirk was ever real. I am firm on that now,” Owens claimed, while alleging Erika had a past connection to Jeffrey Epstein through Jean-Luc Brunel, the late founder of Next Model Management.
Owens also suggested Charlie had been “targeted,” claiming people around him had “infiltrated” his life and were following a script.
Owens Has Repeatedly Targeted Erika Kirk

Since Charlie’s death, Owens has repeatedly targeted Erika in episodes of her podcast, including by promoting conspiracy theories suggesting that the TPUSA CEO may have played a role in her husband’s death.
The podcaster also released a documentary titled “Bride of Charlie,” in which she examined what she described as inconsistencies in Erika’s life, as The Blast reported.
More recently, Owens criticized Erika over an audio clip of Charlie announcing her as his successor, suggesting that the recording may have been manipulated using AI to mislead TPUSA supporters.
She has also criticized Erika for stepping into her husband’s role, arguing that she should instead focus on raising the children she shared with Charlie.
Erika Kirk Pushes Back With Cease-And-Desist Letters

In a bid to defend herself against the barrage of criticism, Erika has issued cease-and-desist letters.
The first was directed at Owens, who responded with a lengthy rant on one of her podcast episodes, including saying it is “gay to send a legal letter” and urging the mother of two not to proceed further.
Erika also sent similar legal warnings to Collin Scott Campbell, the man behind Project Constitution, and video podcaster Zach De Gregorio.
All three have indicated that they will not comply with the letters, and it remains to be seen whether Erika will take further legal action in the near future.
Erika Receives Emotional Apology After Dinner Scare

Meanwhile, Erika recently received an unexpected call from Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. John Fetterman after being caught up in a White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting scare in April.
The senator said he reached out to the Turning Point USA CEO to express his sympathy and acknowledge how triggering the event must have been for her.
Erika has since addressed the incident in a video shared on X, which also included criticism of several of her detractors.
Senator Explains Call To Erika Kirk
Speaking in an interview with Fox News, John Fetterman confirmed that he personally called Erika following the White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting scare, during which viral videos showed her being escorted out in tears.
The call had previously been mentioned by “The Charlie Kirk Show” executive producer Andrew Kolvet, who at the time only revealed that Fetterman sounded “pretty emotional” during the conversation with the Turning Point USA CEO.
Fetterman has now explained that he reached out to sympathize with the mother of two, particularly because the incident reminded him of the assassination of her husband, Charlie Kirk, at a TPUSA event in Utah last September.
“I expressed how sorry I am,” Fetterman told the outlet about the call. “She was frantic, understandably, after her husband was assassinated. How triggering that must have been for her.”
