Brittany Mahomes Flaunts Her Soccer Knowledge, Says ‘I Know Fútbol’

The Super Bowl winner’s wife opened the video with a confirmation that while she knows football, she is also very knowledgeable about soccer. Referring to football as “Fútbol.” Brittany began her video by drawing out intriguing differences between football and Fútbol.
While the playing area is known as a field in football, it is called a pitch in Fútbol, and a game, as it is called in football, is called a match in Fútbol. She added that the outfit for the player in football is called a jersey, compared to a kit as known in Fútbol.
Replay in football is known as VAR in Fútbol, as she added that the concept of half-time show is completely alien in Fútbol; all players get is half-time, a fifteen-minute break for them to refresh and renew. Diehard fans in football are tagged ultra in Fútbol, and a touchdown in the game of football is known as a goal in Fútbol.
A coach in football is described as a manager in Fútbol, while a squad in football is known as a team in Fútbol. Most importantly, Brittany urged her viewers to stop the confusion about American football and Fútbol, as the former is not in season right now, before saying, “It’s not that confusing.”

Brittany Mahomes Reflected On Soccer Roots And Building A Legacy For Her Children
Brittany may be best known today for her life in the public eye and her growing footprint in sports ownership, but long before the cameras and headlines, soccer was where everything started.
Yahoo Entertainment shared that the chapter of her story recently came full circle after she was inducted into her alma mater’s Athletics Hall of Fame.
Reflecting on the past, Brittany noted that her athletic and academic experiences have been a cornerstone of her life and have helped to shape many of her future endeavors.
Prior to joining the Kansas City Current as a co-owner, Brittany played forward for four seasons at the University of Texas at Tyler, making history as the first player in program history to record three hat tricks in a season or collegiate career.
She graduated with a degree in kinesiology, played professional soccer in Iceland, and eventually made the jump to fitness and entrepreneurship.
Brittany has also made it clear that she never thought that she had to be in one type of category, believing that women can excel in more than one area of life.
Her recent induction into the Hall of Fame highlighted her achievements on the pitch, but as for her most important takeaways, she says that one of them was to be authentic and try to be her best.
Years later, she took up a career in sports again in a different role, co-owner of the inaugural women’s soccer team in Kansas City, the Kansas City Current, in 2020, before the sport gained momentum.
The franchise is now worth $325 million, and the plays at CPKC Stadium, the first stadium ever built for a professional women’s sports team, is a testament to the sport’s growth and the evolution of Brittany’s career.

Without forgetting those who have immensely contributed to her growth, Brittany praised Patrick and her family for constantly fueling her ambitions and encouraging her to think bigger. She also credited motherhood for making her more motivated, intentional, and focused to prioritize opportunities that align with her values.
Despite becoming a mother and growing a family, Brittany revealed that her competitive side remains, and she does not feel shy to bring it out during family games with her husband.
Since putting herself in the spotlight of owning a team and also being married to a popular footballer, Brittany confessed that it has not been a walk in the park.
She admitted the attention that came with her platform brought difficult lessons; however, Patrick has helped her keep perspective by reminding her to stay grounded, ignore outside noise, and remain focused on the people and values that matter most.
Brittany Mahomes Always Has Her Man’s Back

Last January, Brittany broke her silence about an unsettling behavior from Buffalo Bills fans who targeted her husband following the team’s narrow AFC Championship win.
As noted by The Blast, the image of Kermit the Frog toy dressed in Patrick’s No. 15 jersey hanging from a noose first circulated online after the Bills served the Kansas City Chiefs a 30-21 defeat.
In response to the post, Brittany criticized the post on social media, saying it was not an appropriate thing to post and urging fans to take a moment to consider their conduct after the game.
Later, she sent out another sharp message, seemingly alluding to the criticism leveled against Patrick’s performance all year, and reminding viewers that the Chiefs were on their way to New Orleans.
Earlier in the day, Brittany shared images from game day, including Patrick’s preparations before kickoff and moments celebrating the Chiefs’ big victory in Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
