One picture showed her taking a break on a paddleboard while another captured her with scuba goggles hanging on her forehead as she paddled with a friend. There was also a shot of Rexha wearing an orange life jacket on a boat deck.

There were more shots of her on the boat deck, capturing her back and revealing her thong bikini bottoms. The snaps shared by TMZ mostly showed the singer with female friends, suggesting she was on a girls’ trip. But her bright smiles did not stop critics from hating.

“Curves?! Sydney Sweeney is curvy. This is obesity,” someone declared. Another agreed, describing the entertainer as “fat,” while a third seemingly compared her to a whale with the comment, “She might get harpooned.”

The mean jokes continued, with an X user noting Rexha’s curves were “more like blubber.” A fellow critic echoed similar sentiments, writing, “Those aren’t curves, they’re fat rolls.” More critics were unimpressed by the singer’s figure, and someone even compared her to a frog wearing a bikini.

The new wave of body-shaming comments came a month after the media personality faced similar attacks. The Blast covered the drama, reporting that Rexha got dragged on social media following her appearance at the 2026 American Music Awards.

The entertainer had confidently strutted down the red carpet in a fitted black dress, but critics brutally trolled her appearance. Some suggested she join the Ozempic trend, while others claimed she needed to change her diet.

That same month, Rexha revealed that her weight gain stemmed from her battle with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). She lamented the way people judged her appearance without knowing her struggles, arguing that a person’s weight should never be up for discussion.
