Jessica Simpson returned to music after a 15-year break in 2025, performing on stage for the first time at the SXSW music festival last March, which was followed by her first full comeback project, the EP “Nashville Canyon, Pt. 1.”

She continued that her perspective on home transcended onto her musical project, and she reminded herself of this fact on the second part of her EP, “Nashville Canyon Part 2,” specifically in the track “Fade.”
The media personality recalled writing that track nearly three years ago when she felt the course of her life had changed forever. Simpson continued that looking back on all she has been through, she has chosen to continue through life with “strength, courage, confidence, and compassion.”
Each time the star appeared on stage to belt out tunes, she felt release and relief from the disappointment she had experienced in the past. More than anything, Simpson noted that she is grateful for the sense of home singing and performing on stage gives her.

The singer added that their support has brought her a renewed sense of purpose and made her feel accepted for who she is. She ended by expressing her gratitude to the fans for the love and value they gave, and that she would see more powerful, inspiring, and authentic moments in the upcoming week.
