Actress Sydney Sweeney has everyone talking about her role in “Euphoria,” although the show definitively came to an end following season 3’s controversial finale. Her OF storyline, which featured her dressing up in a series of bizarre outfits and poses, created even more controversy on social media. At this point, everything she does is under scrutiny. When a fan posted a photo of her stretching while out for a run, one fan declared she was only doing it for the “attention.”
Sydney Sweeney Shows Off Her Lean Legs In Black Shorts
The “Anyone But You” actress was photographed out for a run in a two-piece black gym set. She can be seen raising one leg as she stretches, showing off the muscles in her calves. Her long blonde hair is pulled back out of her face in a tight ponytail as she goes to get some exercise.
“Gym women outfit is for attention,” one fan commented. “She’s got no *ss,” another follower chimed in. “It’s missing a butt! Not everything is perfect!” a third fan agreed. Regardless of the negative comments, one fan said that they gave them “motivation to go for a run right now,” while another said, “She looks so real and full of energy.”
Controversy Over ‘Euphoria’ N-de Scenes
The pop culture X account Pop Base shared a quote from Sam Levinson talking about Sweeney’s controversial season 3 storyline. According to him, Sweeney was the one who actually leaned into showing her acting in her birthday suit.
“Well, it’s funny. When I first wrote it, I was like, ‘Maybe we shoot all of this and we don’t have any nudity. Maybe there’s ways to shoot around certain things?’” he recalled.
“And she looked at me and she was like, ‘Are you kidding? I’m playing an OnlyFans model. You’re telling me you’re going to, like, skirt around it?’” he continued. “And I was like, ‘Yeah, OK, that’s a fair point.’”
Fans React To Sydney Sweeney’s ‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Role
The post got over 600 comments, and more than 26K likes as fans weighed in with their opinions. “I mean, honestly, this is already what I expected from Sydney Sweeney as an actress. I can appreciate the fact that she takes her roles seriously and actually commits fully to making the character feel authentic instead of watering things down or only half-performing certain aspects of the role,” one fan commented.
“I mean, I get where she’s coming from, but to willingly want to play such a role baffles me,” another follower wrote. “You cannot build a character whose entire world revolves around her body and her relationship with it and then suddenly get squeamish about showing that reality on screen,” a third fan agreed, while other followers felt that she was being “too sexualized.”
Sydney Has No Plans To Get Political
Following her controversial “great jeans” American Eagle ad, “The Housemaid” actress told Cosmopolitan that she doesn’t plan to discuss politics, despite speculation that some have been calling her “MAGA Barbie” online.
“I’m not a political person. I’m in the arts. I’m not here to speak on politics. That’s not an area I’ve ever even imagined getting into,” she said at the time. “It’s not why I became who I am.”
“I became an actor because I like to tell stories, but I don’t believe in hate in any form,” she added. “I believe we should all love each other and have respect and understanding for one another.”
