Elon Musk remains adamant that he became a right-wing supporter thanks to his estranged daughter, Vivian Wilson.

The tech billionaire has repeatedly made it clear that he does not support the LGBTQ+ community, particularly the woke movement, over his trans daughter. In 2020, Vivian came out as a transgender woman to her father’s displeasure.

The father and daughter have since become estranged, frequently clashing over their opposing opinions. Now, Elon Musk has rekindled their beef amid Pride Month.

Vivian kicked off Pride Month with a bang as she posed for Savage X Fenty’s LGBTQ+ campaign. Pictures from the photoshoot made rounds on social media platforms, including her father’s X, where a fan blamed Vivian’s transition for instigating Elon’s MAGA support.

“We should never forget that if not for Vivian, Elon Musk never would have gotten involved, never would have purchased Twitter, Kamala Harris would be President, and the Left-wing would have total instrumental control over the construction of Skynet,” the conspiracy theorist wrote.

The tweet caught Elon’s attention, who replied, “True.” His words sparked mixed reactions from fans, with some slamming him for fighting against Vivian’s decision to be a trans woman. An X user advised him not to take things personally, as not all children will follow their parents’ “guidance or direction.”

X Users Have Interesting Reactions To The Billionaire’s Comment

The criticism continued, with someone warning Elon about the consequences of turning away from Vivian because of his personal beliefs. “You might someday realize that you killed your own child,” they wrote, arguing that a real parent would never abandon their child.

More X users advised Elon to let bygones be bygones and reunite with Vivian, with a fan hoping his love for his daughter remained regardless of her choices. On the other hand, the tech mogul’s supporters sympathized with the loss of his son, as Vivian was originally known as Xavier Alexander Musk.

“Deep empathy for what they did to your son,” a supporter penned, with another agreeing that Elon’s situation was “devastating for a father.” These X users stood by Elon’s fight against the woke agents, arguing that he wasn’t at fault for trying to stop more people from going down the same path as Vivian.

Vivian Wilson Previously Denied Being The Reason For Her Father’s Switch

A year before Vivian’s Pride Month photoshoot, The Blast reported in April 2025 that Vivian had shut down the speculations about Elon’s MAGA support. She addressed the situation in an interview, explaining that her father had never been on the left-wing nor was he “a liberal darling.”

“People think it’s my fault. I cannot take credit for that, unfortunately,” she said, alleging that her father had been openly “right-wing since at least 2016.” Vivian added that the perception of Elon being on the left was “a marketing scheme” and shut down claims of her transition instigating his switch.

“People think that we live in a novel and that [my transition] is some tragic character motivation. This is not a novel. I am not the reason,” Vivian declared. She went on to slam Elon as an “insecure little buffoon,” comments that came a year after another social media clash.

The Model Slammed Her Father For His Dead Son Comment

In July 2024, The Blast reported that Vivian had once again slammed her father on social media over his comments. The drama began when Elon sat down for an interview, where he condemned the “woke-mind virus” for killing his son.

During the interview, Elon implied that he was tricked into signing papers allowing Vivian’s transition to female, lamenting that he lost his son in the process. Vivian immediately responded on Threads, joking that she looked “pretty good for a dead b-tch.”

Additionally, Vivian stressed that her relationship with Elon ended because she disowned him and not the other way around. She also refuted several of the claims her father made in the interview, including her love for musical theater and picking jackets for Elon.

How Fans Reacted To Elon Musk’s Estranged Daughter’s Pride Month Photoshoot

While Elon seemed unimpressed by Vivian’s collaboration with Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty, the same could not be said for fans. The lingerie brand and Vivian shared a joint Instagram post on Monday, June 1, dropping three pictures from the Pride Month photoshoot.

The images captured Vivian striking alluring poses in a graffiti underwear set featuring a black bralette and panties designed with the words “Proud,” “Queer,” “Loud,” “Unapologetic,” “Love us,” and “Love is Gay” written in white.

The underwear set also featured crystal fringes attached to the hem of the top. Vivian accessorized with a similarly crystal-fringed pair of heeled sandals. “@vivllainous is exactly who she said she is,” the caption read, earning an outpouring of love and support from fans who praised the collaboration.
