Taylor marched out of court with a major win on her shoulders pertaining to her custody battle with Dakota. The judge has expanded her allocated time to be spent with her two-year-old son, Ever. The judge made his ruling during the court hearing on Monday, June 1, where he scrapped the requirement that the TV star’s parenting time be supervised.

This ruling means she will have extended time to spend solo with her son. According to the updated arrangement, Taylor will have parenting time with Ever on a designated day each week in addition to alternating weekends.

Her ex, however, remains the primary custodial parent and will retain custody of the toddler during holidays. The judge’s ruling also included some ground rules for Dakota and Taylor. As shared by TMZ, it ordered them not to trash each other, even on social media publicly.

The Reality TV Star’s Win Has Been A Long Way Coming

Taylor’s recent courtroom victory comes down the line of a long road of legal woes. The former lovers have spent months going through a series of legal dramas. The fight kicked off earlier this year after allegations of domestic violence incidents came to light from both parties. The competing allegations prompted law enforcement agencies to look into the matter.

As investigations ensued, Taylor and Dakota both filed requests for protective orders against each other, which a judge later signed off on. At a previous court hearing in April, they were granted mutual restraining orders that will remain effective for the next three years. The order states that they are to stay at least 100 feet away from each other.

The “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star’s 2023 domestic violence case was refreshed in people’s memories after a video where she was seen screaming at Dakota resurfaced. In the video, Taylor was filmed seemingly putting her ex-boyfriend into a headlock and hurling metal stools in his direction. In the midst of the who fiasco, one of her children could be heard crying in the background.

Taylor Frankie Paul Took Time To Process Her Public Mistakes

Taylor reportedly spent time reflecting on her bumpy journey over the past few months. She revealed, on the last day of Mental Health Awareness Month, that she was still processing how her life changed at the snap of a finger. Despite her personal pain, the 32-year-old shared words of encouragement with her fans.

“Still processing, two shows were put on pause. Balled it up in both shows, made some boys cry, and now I’m bawling,” she wrote. “What is life? Take it seriously, learn lessons, but don’t forget to be silly too.” Taylor reminded her viewers that it is okay to smile again after making mistakes and to realize they are not going through pain alone.

She previously shared that going through her everyday life felt like she was covered in bruises and scratches, as well as pain that cannot be seen. The Blast reported that production on season 5 of “TSLOMW” was put on hold after the domestic violence video resurfaced. ABC and Disney also pulled the plug on her “The Bachelorette” debut season, a few days before it officially aired.

Despite the viral video, Taylor was not charged with the domestic violence incidents with Dakota. The office of the Salt Lake City District released a statement to that effect, stating that Taylor was off the hook due to lack of evidence and the statute of limitations.

“Any incidents of misdemeanor offenses which are alleged to have occurred more than two years ago are barred by the statute of limitations. Incidents which are alleged to have occurred within the statute of limitations have also been reviewed,” the statement read.

As reported by The Blast, the conclusion to let Taylor walk came after reports and evidence submitted to the Draper Police Department and West Jordan Police Department were thoroughly analyzed. Taylor confessed that she got emotional after hearing the verdict that the prosecutors were not pressing charges against her.

Taylor’s struggles go beyond the legal and physical altercation with her ex-partner. In light of the case with Dakota, it was revealed that she experienced multiple miscarriages, which were kept tucked away from the public eye.

The personal struggle was revealed during testimony tied to the protective order case last month when her attorney shared that the traumatic experience occurred before the February incident that led to the legal battle.

“This was a very difficult time in their relationship; they were going through some challenges,” her lawyer said before dropping the bombshell. “Compounded by the fact that my client was dealing with two recent miscarriages.”

The Blast shared that at the hearing, the judge called Dakota and Taylor out on their “violent” and “dysfunctional” relationship. He stressed that they were linked together for life as they share a child and urged them to work on their relationship as co-parents.

Congratulations, Taylor Frankie Paul!
