Taylor Swift’s wedding guest list is already causing major buzz before she even walks down the aisle. 

The pop superstar and Travis Kelce are reportedly preparing for a star-studded ceremony in New York City this summer, but several once-close friends may not be getting invitations. 

From Miles Teller and Keleigh Sperry to Karlie Kloss and Blake Lively, reports of missing invites have sparked fresh speculation about shifting friendships inside Swift’s famously tight inner circle, and fans are already dissecting every detail.

Reports that Teller and his wife, Sperry, are not invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding surprised fans given how close the couples once appeared to be. 

Page Six reported that the pair were excluded from the upcoming ceremony, though an exact reason for the alleged snub has not been revealed.

The development comes roughly seven months after rumors first surfaced suggesting there was tension among the foursome. 

Their last public appearance together took place in February 2024, when Teller and Sperry joined the singer in a VIP Super Bowl suite to watch Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers.

Since then, subtle changes on social media have added fuel to the speculation. While Sperry still follows Swift on Instagram, she has noticeably stopped regularly liking the singer’s posts. 

In fact, the only posts Sperry has publicly liked since April 2024 were Swift and Travis’s engagement announcement in August 2025 and the Grammy Award winner’s May 2025 announcement that she regained ownership of her master recordings.

Swift’s Friendship Dynamic Appeared To Shift Months Ago

Rumors surrounding the friendship intensified in November 2025 when Teller gave a somewhat vague response after being asked whether he and Sperry would attend Taylor Swift and Travis’ wedding. 

The actor, whose wife famously starred in Swift’s 2021 music video for “I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version),” avoided confirming anything directly.

“I don’t know. That is gonna be, I imagine, one impressive wedding,” Teller told Parade magazine, adding, “But yeah, just very happy for them. I’ve known Trav for a while, too, and I think they’re having a blast. That’s the point.”

Just a week after the interview, Teller appeared on Travis and Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast, where he discussed football and promoted his latest movie. 

Although the conversation never touched on Swift or wedding plans, Teller repeatedly referred to Travis as his “brother,” making the reported exclusion from the guest list even more surprising to fans.

Taylor Swift Also Reportedly Distances Herself From Other Famous Friends

Teller and Sperry are not the only famous names reportedly missing from Swift’s wedding plans. 

Last month, reports revealed that Blake Lively was unlikely to receive an invitation after dragging the “Cruel Summer” singer into her legal dispute with Justin Baldoni, a battle that has since been settled.

Meanwhile, another former member of Swift’s famously tight friend group, Karlie Kloss, reportedly did not make the cut either.

According to reports, Swift began distancing herself from Kloss sometime after the supermodel’s October 2018 wedding to Joshua Kushner, where Scooter Braun attended as a guest.

Recall that Braun purchased Swift’s original label, Big Machine Label Group, for $330 million. According to a report from The Blast, Kloss’s association with Braun didn’t sit well with Swift, hence the reason for omitting her name from the wedding guest list. 

A source explained the thinking behind Swift’s wedding selections, saying, “Taylor has meticulously gone through her wedding guest list because the people she wants at her wedding are the people she hopes will remain in her life forever.”

Swift Still Plans To Celebrate With Some Famous Friends

Despite reports of certain friendships cooling off, other celebrity connections are still expected to play a major role in Taylor Swift’s wedding celebration.

According to reports, Zoë Kravitz is “absolutely coming” to the wedding despite her friendship with Swift reportedly becoming less close recently.

Kravitz’s invitation raised eyebrows because the actress is currently engaged to Harry Styles, one of Swift’s famous ex-boyfriends.

However, an insider noted that Styles himself may not attend the ceremony due to his touring schedule. “I don’t know about Harry, though, as he’s on tour,” the source explained.

As previously reported. Swift and Travis are expected to marry in New York City on July 3.

According to The Blast, insiders claimed the leaks have been “incredibly disheartening,” forcing the pair to change both venues and dates as they scramble to keep details of their rumored July 3 wedding under wraps. 

“They’ve had to change venues and dates. It’s been such a monstrous headache,” a source alleged, adding that the situation has left Swift feeling “very vulnerable” and questioning who she can trust. 

The report also noted that Swift has become increasingly secretive about the planning process and is enforcing strict guest-list rules.

Sources claimed the singer wants an intimate ceremony and does not want “random faces” present during such a personal moment. 

The wedding is reportedly being “orchestrated like a military operation,” with Swift prioritizing privacy over hurt feelings and making it clear that security concerns will take precedence over guest complaints.
