Minkoff took to her “Humble Brag” podcast, which she cohosts with Cynthia Bailey, in May 2026 to react to the reports about her “RHOBH” return. In responding, the 43-year-old noted that she had seen the rumors and that her phone had been “blowing up.”

According to her, “I’m always having conversations in general at Bravo.” Regarding her potential return, Minkoff stated that the friend-of-the-show role would be best for her. She noted Bailey’s occupying that position on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” as her inspiration.

She continued, “But it just depends on the cast, but yeah, I think I’d be ready. I think I’m finally ready.”

Much has changed with the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast since Minkoff’s departure in 2024. Because of this, amid the reports of her return, many wondered where she’d fit in with the group. During their discussion, Bailey asked Minkoff who she felt she’d have most in common with on the current cast. She first mentioned the new cast member to the show, Amanda Frances.

The mom of two stated, “I have mixed feelings about Amanda. I know that the chatter out there is that Crystal and Amanda would be together.” From there, Minkoff said she’d “be more sympathetic” with Frances, yet honest and direct.

As for the rest of the cast, Minkoff is friends with Sutton Stracke despite the fact that they “always fight.” She also said she’s “Good with Kyle [Richards] right now.” However, she’d “have to get through stuff” with Kemsley.

Additionally, the “RHOBH” alum said, “I’ve always liked Erika [Jayne], but she has [wanted] a lot from me, in a good way.”

Following Minkoff’s confirmation that she’s open to returning and her statement that she’s been in touch with Bravo, fans of the show are weighing in. Overall, the consensus is that fans would love to see her return, but they hope she’s better prepared for the pressures of reality TV.

One person on X said, “So her stupid plan would be to go back doing exactly the same with the same people and joining the ranks to beat up on Dorit.”

A different social media user stated, “Dang, I’d wanna see Crystal back, especially as a duo with beloved Garcelle, but I’m curious how Sutton/Crystal do without her presence.” Someone else wrote, “Bring back Crystal, Denise, Camille, and maybe we have a show.”

Lastly, another X user suggested, “Give her Erika’s spot.”
