Brittney Palmer Has Built A Career Beyond The Octagon

Though many fans first came to know Palmer during her years as one of the UFC’s most recognizable Octagon Girls, she’s continued building her brand well beyond the fighting world. In recent years, Palmer has focused heavily on her art career, frequently showcasing her paintings and creative projects while also keeping fans updated on her travels and glamorous lifestyle.
In a past interview, the former UFC star explained that while she took classes at UCLA and later studied at the Brentwood Art Center in Los Angeles, her artistic journey truly began after a devastating car accident at age 21.
Palmer Turned A Life-Altering Setback Into A New Passion

Palmer, who grew up in Las Vegas and was working with WEC while also dancing professionally at the time, said the crash abruptly changed the course of her life. “I wasn’t able to dance anymore,” she recalled, explaining that she spent nearly three months bedridden recovering from her injuries.
During that difficult period, Palmer turned to painting and quickly became consumed by it. “I just started to paint, became obsessed with it,” she said, adding that the experience ultimately pushed her to relocate to Los Angeles and fully dedicate herself to learning the craft.
Determined to improve, Palmer immersed herself in art classes several times a week, eventually realizing painting came more naturally to her than dancing ever had. “I was so much of a better artist than I was a dancer,” she admitted. “I naturally was picking that up better.”
