Las Vegas is about to say goodbye to one of its most iconic shows.
Frank Marino’s “Divas, Drag & Drinks” at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, will be ending it’s more than 40-year run on Sunday night. Known for his dazzling celebrity impressions and decades of headlining on the Strip, Marino has become a staple of Vegas nightlife, drawing loyal fans and first-time visitors alike. The show’s closure marks the end of an era for Las Vegas entertainment, but not the end of a career for Marino.
The Blast was in the audience for the first of his three final shows this weekend. Ahead of the show, we spoke to Marino, who shared a little about what his future plans hold.
‘Divas, Drag & Drinks’ Ends Its Long Vegas Run On Sunday

Marino, long celebrated as the “Queen of Las Vegas” is getting ready to say goodbye to his popular show, “Divas, Drag & Drinks” this weekend. After more than 40 years of performing in Sin City and dazzling audiences with impersonations, comedy, and glamour, the show’s finale marks the end of an era.
“The emotional rollercoaster is going a little crazy,” Marino told The Blast exclusively a few weeks ago. “I am looking forward to some relaxation, rest, but I am also giving up something that I love so much.”
As for the timing of ending the show, Marino said he wants to go out “while we’re still on top,” so now felt like the right time.
Just ahead of his Friday night show, Marino shared with The Blast the thoughts and feelings he’s experiencing heading into his last three shows.
“I sort of have nervous butterflies, but I usually have that anyway before any show. I’m doing it 41 years and I still get nervous,” he said. “But I think it’s a good thing because I believe if you’re nervous about doing stuff it means you really care about it.”
Frank Marino Has Been A Staple On The Strip For More Than 40 Years

Marino, who was recently called the “GOAT” by a fan, wasn’t quite sure what it meant, but after looking it up and finding out it means he’s the “greatest of all time,” said he “liked that label” and wants to be remembered as such.
In his 40-plus years of performing in Vegas, Marino has had many milestones to think back on, including having a street named after him, being the only person with two stars on the Boulevard, and the lights on the famous Welcome to Las Vegas sign changing colors to honor his 40th year performing.
“There are so many things [memories] that I couldn’t pick just one,” Marino told The Blast. “But the journey itself has been just amazing and I absolutely love Las Vegas.”
Frank Marino Has A Message For Fans

Whether you’ve been to one of Marino’s shows or not, the “Queen of Las Vegas” has a message for fans heading into the last weekend of “Divas, Drag & Drinks.”
“I want to thank everybody for 41 great years. You’ve been fabulous to me over the years,” he began. “Thank you for coming to all the different shows and different events that I’ve thrown over the years and been a part of. And I know a lot of you guys said I made you laugh for 41 years, but you guys made me very happy for 41 years.”
What’s Next For The ‘Queen Of Las Vegas’?

Now that Marino’s show is ending, he’s going to have some free time on his hands, and everyone’s wondering what fabulous thing he’s going to do next. And what he does next won’t be accessible to only people visiting Vegas, so everyone will be able to enjoy his next chapter.
“What I would hope to do in my future is become a content creator. So everybody out there follow me online,” he told The Blast. “I’ve gotten so many great gifts from Las Vegas. I got to go to all the restaurant openings, all the show openings, I’ve seen so much that most people couldn’t do everything and I got to do it for free. So if someone’s coming here to Las Vegas for vacation, I feel I’ve got a good foot in the door to say, hey this is the best Italian restaurant that I like, or the best Mexican restaurant, or whatever it is they are looking for.”
You can follow Frank’s content creator journey on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
