Khloé Kardashian is revisiting the past and exploring the future with Tristan Thompson.

The former couple linked up on the latest episode of their podcast to discuss their unique co-parenting arrangement and possibly expanding their family solely based on the reality star’s discretion.

Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson began their relationship in 2016, quickly becoming one of the most talked-about couples in Hollywood, and welcomed two children during their on-and-off relationship.

During the latest episode of “Khloé In Wonderland”, the former couple opened up about everything from raising their children together to frozen embryos and Tristan’s decision to undergo a vasectomy.

The conversation opened with Khloé asking whether the NBA personality is considering adding more kids to his roster in the future. 

Tristan responded to the question, revealing that he believes any future children would only come through the embryos he shares with Khloé. He added on the side that he has no interest in expanding his family with anyone else, as he already has enough baby mamas.

The Hulu star then revealed that she was a major player in Tristan’s journey to get a vasectomy done, joking that there may have been a little pressure from her side.

Tristan laughed off the comment, later admitting that he initially shrugged off the proposition due to his stubborn nature, although he realized that taking that route never works out in his favor.

The pair further confirmed that the possibility of having more children together still exists because Khloé has legal control over their remaining embryos. Khloé continued that Tristan had already signed over the embryos to her, a fact he readily confirmed. 

The Former Couple Credit Friendship As The Backbone Of Their Coparenting Relationship 

As the episode continued, Khloé and Tristan took stock of how far they had come since calling it quits on their relationship half a decade ago.

These days, the couple has been able to carry on in the spirit of friendship and a mutual commitment to raising their kids, True and Tatum Thompson.

Tristan expressed his hopes that their established dynamic would serve as an example that parents do not have to remain romantically involved to maintain a healthy and supportive relationship for their family. 

He also admitted that the biggest challenge was never whether co-parenting would work, but rather whether they could be emotionally mature enough to move past the disappointment of their failed relationship and focus on what was best for their children.

Khloé keyed into the narrative, establishing that Tristan will always have a relationship with their children as long as he carries out his fatherly roles.

The business mogul added that she has no interest in creating unnecessary divisions within the family, and the more milestones they celebrate as a unit, the better it is for their overall progress.

Although the couple parted ways, it did not stop rumor peddlers from spinning narratives that something romantic was still brewing between the duo.

However, The Blast noted that Khloé confirmed that after the end of her love affair with the athlete, she basically drew the curtain on romance.

Prior to her very popular relationship with Tristan, the star was linked with several celebrities, including French Montana, James Harden, Odell Beckham Jnr, Kevin McGarry, Trey Songz, to name a few. 

The media personality emphasized that he has been out of the dating game for years, and no mystery man was in the wings either.

Alongside this shocking revelation, Khloé also explained that her sex life has been inactive for over three years, and she has essentially focused on raising her kids and staying drama-free.

Khloé and Tristan parted ways in 2021 after it became public that the basketballer was expecting a child with another woman while he and Khloé were planning to reconcile.

In 2025, The Blast stated that the reality star set the record straight on her continued interaction with Tristan, noting that he will always be in her life due to his connection to her two children as their father.

According to her, “I think what I find so funny is that people are always like, ‘How do you let Tristan back in?’ And I’m like, ‘Well, Tristan is not back in.”

While nothing romantic may happen between them in the near future, Khloé, however, expressed her gratitude at the fact that Tristan has remained a consistent figure in their children’s lives. She noted that she would never get in the way of Tristan building a beautiful bond with True and Tatum.

The duo welcomed Tatum in 2022 through surrogacy despite parting ways a year earlier in commitment to plans already made before the infidelity scandal blew up.

Their relationship was also struck with the same rumors of infidelity when Khloé was pregnant with their first child, True, sending her into early labor.

Khloé Kardashian Remained A Part Of Tristan Thompson’s Brother’s Life

Speaking of staying in each other’s lives, the reality star took her bond with Tristan beyond their kids, extending the warm hand of care and friendship to his brother, Amari Thompson.

Right after Tristan’s mother, Andrea Thompson, passed in 2022, the reality star assumed the role of Amari’s caregiver.

Khloé explained that she stepped up to ensure Amari, who is suffering from a severe form of epilepsy, received quality care since Andrea’s departure.

She continued that Amari was brought in from Canada to stay with her in the United States, so she could keep an eye on him while Tristan concluded plans to become his legal guardian.

The Hulu star noted that Tristan’s basketball schedule also made it difficult for Amari to get consistent care under his watch, especially in moments when he gets seizures.
