Ryan Edwards‘ wife has moved from DUI drama to a cry for help!

Amanda Conner may be getting her lick back just one day after she was taken into custody for flouting some major traffic offenses and exposing her child to potential child abuse.

“Teen Mom” star Ryan Edwards bailed his wife, Amanda Conner, out of jail after her arrest, and they were later spotted walking together in the parking lot of a local gas station.

Amanda reportedly called authorities on the reality star one day after he had her arrested on several charges connected to driving under the influence, child abuse, and more. 

According to Hamilton County dispatch audio first shared by social media creator @ReiClarke, Amanda made the call around 6 a.m on Monday, May 25, asking that she be assisted while retrieving her belongings from Ryan’s home.

Dispatch notes taken from the call noted that the caller, identified as Amanda, had claimed that her husband, identified as “Ryan,” had a history of physical abuse toward her. As the call went on, responding officers were also able to match the address provided to the couple’s home.

Amanda will not be the first woman in Ryan’s life accusing him of abuse; just earlier this month, Rei Clarke claimed she was sent pictures by Amanda that showcased her with a black eye, alongside claims that Edwards put them there. 

Ryan’s former wife, Mackenzie, had also previously accused him of domestic violence in a 2024 protective order filing, noting that the reality star threatened and assaulted her on multiple occasions.

As noted by The Ashley’s Reality Round Up, Mackenzie added that some of the unfortunate encounters even happened in the presence of their young offspring.

The MTV alum’s wife was arrested on Sunday morning in Tennessee for driving on the wrong road, among several crimes, according to records from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office jail near Chattanooga.

As noted by The Blast, Amanda’s bond was set at $16,000, and he was held in custody following the arrest.

Audio from dispatchers at the scene captured a husband reaching out to the police out of concern that his wife may have been consuming drugs because she refused to take a drug test upon request.

The worried caller reportedly claimed that an infant was in the car at the time; following this revelation and discovery during the arrest, Connor was slapped with a no-contact order on the child victim’s behalf.

At the time of her arrest, it was stated that Amanda would be barred from seeing or contacting the child before her June 3 appearance in court.

The reality star’s wife was also legally prohibited from contacting the child’s current caregiver under any circumstances unless authorities say otherwise.

Amanda’s arrest comes three years after her beau was faced with the consequences of a run-in with Tennessee law enforcement.

The media personality was charged with reckless driving for blasting at 145mph in a 65mph zone on a motorcycle near his parents’ home.

The incident occurred around 10 p.m., prompting authorities to charge him with a Class B misdemeanor in Tennessee, as “Failure to Exercise Due Care,” which is classified as a Class C misdemeanor, as well as a third unspecified charge.

However, despite the seriousness of the allegations, Ryan was not arrested at the scene. The incident added to the MTV personality’s growing legal troubles at the time. 

Prior to his overspeeding case, the media personality had reportedly been ordered to get into a rehab facility where he completed a 28-day treatment program in Tennessee before transitioning into a halfway house affiliated with the center.

Edward’s former partner, Maci Bookout, shared in 2024 that getting on the same page with him when it comes to co-parenting was really a miracle.

As reported by E! Online, Maci reflected on how far things have come after years of tension between the two families. 

She admitted that if someone had told her years ago that her husband, Taylor McKinney, would one day casually spend time golfing with Ryan and their son Bentley, she would not have given it a thought.

Maci and Ryan seemingly moved past years of heated drama, including a 2021 feud with his parents, Jen and Larry Edwards. 

The reality star, however, noted that everyone involved has worked on themselves and taken the time to rebuild the broken trust and communication.

She added that instead of entering into shouting matches, she and Edwards now resort to having healthy communication and hashing out their differences.

The reality star and his ex-fiancé’s husband eventually found a common ground after years of protracted tension and blow-ups.

PEOPLE shared that McKinney and Edwards had a heart-to-heart discussion on an episode of “Teen Mom: The Next Chapter” in 2025, where they reminisced about their rocky relationship and the role Edwards getting sober played in fixing things.

McKinney established that things may have taken a different turn between them if he had met Edwards when he was sober, as his natural instinct was to keep a distance from the MTV star while he battled addiction.

McKinney also expressed regret about his past on-camera confrontation with Larry, admitting that he could have approached the volatile situation better.

Both men ended the conversation mutually agreeing that even in his worst moments, McKinney still wished Edwards the best because of his relationship with Bentley.
