The stars were out in full force on Monday afternoon, all dolled up, ready to chat, and ready for some AMA fun. The red carpet was filled wall to wall with reality stars, musicians, content creators, influencers, athletes, and more. So many familiar faces walked the red carpet posing for pics, taking questions from the media, and just having a good time before heading into MGM Grand Garden Arena to see who was taking home an award.

A few of the faces on the carpet include Jessi Draper from “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” Marciano Brunette from “Vanderpump Villa,” Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles, John and Lisa Barlow of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” rapper Ludacris, UFC fighter Merab Dvalishvili, singer/model/actress Teyana Taylor, and singer Jason Derulo and many others.

The Blast got the chance to talk to some of the celebs as they walked down the carpet toward the arena entrance. Some weren’t able to stop for interviews and others quietly snuck by, but we were able to grab the attention of a few well known and loved celebrities.

Merab, well known to UFC fans, was happy to chat with anyone who wanted to chat. He was also game for doing skits or trends and really seemed to enjoy his time on the red carpet.

When asked by The Blast what his fans might be surprised to hear about him, he hesitated a bit before sharing that he does “crazy things” that are “out there” so maybe they wouldn’t be shocked about much.

“Maybe, if I show my cooking skills, they could be shocked because I cook good,” he said. He also shared that his next fight is around August or September, so fans can get ready to see him in action again.

When asked what he’s most excited about at the AMAs, he shared that he really enjoyed the “moments” on the red carpet and seeing some of his friends, including Steve Aoki.

Kelsi Davies, who’s IG bio reads, “Actress | Artist | Clairvoyant Weirdo,” was grabbing tons of attention for her amazing glam. She happily chatted with The Blast to talk about what she was most excited about at the AMAs.

“I’m just excited to be in the same room as Lady Gaga, like I’m freaking out about that,” she told The Blast. “I love her.”

She also gave an update on what she’s up to, sharing that all her content is going to streaming services.

“So hopefully you’ll see me on your TV,” she said. “That’s a really, really big thing that’s going on and I’m just excited to see the gap being bridged, if that made sense.”

When the topic of Vegas entered the chat, she said she loves spooky things and enjoys “not normal people things” when visiting Sin City.

He said he was most excited to see musician Sombr. He also shared that he’s “never spent more than 24-hours in Vegas,” but he said it’s a “good time, good weather.”

Orlando also told The Blast he has an album dropping in a few weeks and then plans to go on tour.

Those were just a few of the many celebs to walk the red carpet ahead of this year’s AMAs. The entire high-energy red carpet event lasted more than three hours and gave media a great chance to have some questions answered, get some unique photos, and even have some fun creating TikTok trends.

New Kids on the Block were a major hit, so much so that they never made it over for an interview with The Blast. Still, Donnie Wahlberg stopped to snap a photo and chat briefly. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, and Teyana Taylor and her sweet children showed up at the end of the red carpet event and graciously posed for pics without rushing.
