Ryan Edwards‘ wife, Amanda Conner, is in trouble with the law!

The “Teen Mom” star was nabbed for driving under the influence alongside other crime related to child abuse, years after Ryan Edwards was nabbed for a traffic offense.

Ryan Edwards and Amanda Conner got married in 2025, two weeks after finalizing his divorce from ex-wife Mackenzie Standifer, and welcomed their first child together the same year.

What Are Ryan Edwards’ Partner, Amanda Conner’s Charges?

Conner was reportedly arrested on Sunday morning in Tennessee on a variety of charges that included DUI and child abuse/neglect. Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Jail records show Conner was booked near Chattanooga, and she is also charged with allegedly driving on the wrong side of the road.

Her bond was reportedly set at $16,000, and she has yet to be released. Consequently, a no-contact order was issued on behalf of the alleged child victim. Should Conner post bond, she will be ordered not to be around the child or contact her until her June 3 court date.

She is also legally barred from reaching the care provider who is currently looking after the child. Audio from the dispatch of the alleged incident showed that a husband called police in response to his apparent concern that his wife might be using drugs since she did not agree to a drug test.

As stated by TMZ, the husband also stated over the call that the woman was with a baby in the car, but the dispatch audio did not include names. The arrest represents another scandal in the life of Edwards, who has been a frequent news source since his association with MTV.

In 2023, The Blast shared that Edwards was arrested and slapped with charges for reckless driving after he was caught speeding at double the designated legal limit in Tennessee.

The law enforcement agents reportedly pulled over the media personality on October 7, 2023, while he was riding his motorcycle in his parents’ residence. Edwards was allegedly speeding through a 65-mph zone around 10 p.m., hitting 145 mph.

Security agents noted that the reality TV star was going 80mph over the limit, and as a result, was charged with reckless driving, considered a Class B misdemeanor. At the same time, “Failure to Exercise Due Care” is classified as a Class C misdemeanor alongside a third unspecified charge.

Tennessee has a Class B misdemeanor for reckless driving and a Class C misdemeanor for “Failure to Exercise Due Care.” Although the charges are serious, Edwards was said not to have been arrested at the scene.

Ryan Edwards’ Trouble Spiraled Into Near-Overdose After Rehab

Edwards’ traffic troubles joined his backlog of legal woes, as he was previously ordered into rehab. The “Teen Mom” star was said to have entered a 28-day treatment program in Tennessee and was then moved to a halfway house connected to the rehab facility.

According to reports, a judge approved that Edwards get a furlough from his year-long jail sentence so he could attend treatment and remain in the halfway house program, where he was still reportedly serving that arrangement.

Edwards also had a scary overdose episode earlier in 2023 as authorities reportedly discovered he was unconscious in his truck while his car was still in “drive” with the engine running. It was reported that Edwards had taken a substance prior to falling unconscious behind the wheel.

Emergency crews came on the scene and used Narcan, a drug that could reverse an opioid overdose, to revive Edwards on the scene before being rushed to a hospital for additional treatment. The incident was said to have occurred just days after he left an earlier Rehab Center.

Edwards has been charged with several legal issues over the years, such as a prior arrest for substance abuse and a DUI charge. He was also found guilty of harassment charges against his estranged wife, Mackenzie Edwards, and was sentenced to almost a year in jail.

Earlier in the year, Conner trashed rumors circulating that she and Edwards’ marriage was headed for the rocks following some cryptic social media posts, which spurred speculations among fans.

As shared by E! Online, Conner had posted on her social media that before she became a mother, she was a menace to society, alongside a warning that she should not be messed with.

The media personality broke her silence about the reports, insisting that people took her posts out of context, reiterating that not everything about her online is connected to her marriage.

Conner revealed that the speculation affected both of them, but beyond that, her marriage to Edwards was intact, although they still argue as every normal couple does.

She declared that she would never use cryptic posts to hint at serious marital problems if something were actually wrong.

The reality star also expressed frustration over fans constantly reading into her social media activity, saying she cannot even post sad songs or motivational quotes without people assuming the worst.
