Holmes and his fiancée Robach are moving full speed ahead with wedding plans, and appear to have “the blessing of their exes to get married.”

According to insiders who spoke to Us Weekly, Holmes and Robach are preparing to tie the knot later this year, with both of their ex-partners, Marilee Fiebig and Andrew Shue, who are now dating each other, reportedly fully supportive of the upcoming marriage.

While the pair has received invitations to the ceremony, sources claim they do not plan to attend, though the couple’s children are expected to play major roles in the celebration.

“Amy wants T.J.’s daughter Sabine and her daughters, Ava and Annie, to be bridesmaids,” the source noted.

Holmes shares Sabine with Fiebig and has two older children, Brianna and Jaiden, from a previous marriage.

Robach, meanwhile, shares her daughters with former husband Tim McIntosh and also became stepmother to Shue’s three sons during their marriage.

Sources close to the couple say relationships between the blended families have improved significantly in recent years, with everyone now “getting to the point where they’re all coparenting and they’re all getting along” and maintaining stability for the children.

Holmes and Robach’s romance first became public in 2022 while they were co-anchors on “GMA3: What You Need to Know.”

The relationship quickly became a media sensation and eventually led to both leaving the network in early 2023.

Despite the controversy surrounding the start of their relationship, the pair have remained together and became engaged in 2025.

Both Holmes and Robach have maintained that their previous marriages were already over before their relationship became public.

Holmes finalized his divorce from Fiebig in 2023, while Robach and Shue officially ended their marriage the same year after separating months earlier.

Meanwhile, Shue and Fiebig unexpectedly formed a relationship of their own in the aftermath of the scandal.

Their romance was confirmed in late 2023, and reports later claimed the two had moved in together, with sources insisting their relationship developed naturally rather than out of revenge.

As for Holmes and Robach, the couple is reportedly planning a small destination wedding sometime in 2026, hoping to keep the celebration private and away from heavy media attention.

Sources say the couple wants an intimate event with only close family and friends rather than a large celebrity-filled affair.

Although the pair has not publicly shared their exact wedding date, they recently hinted that plans are already well underway during an appearance on “Bill and Giuliana: The Podcast.”

When asked whether they had settled on a date, Holmes quickly confirmed that they had, surprising Robach in the process.

Robach jokingly questioned whether her fiancé had finally agreed to the date she preferred, prompting Holmes to admit that being around podcast hosts Giuliana Rancic and Bill Rancic made him feel more confident about the decision.

“Being here with them made me more comfortable,” he said.

While keeping most wedding details under wraps, Holmes revealed that he and Robach have already envisioned a deeply personal style of ceremony they are not yet ready to publicly discuss, describing it as something “very special” to both of them.

“We can’t say what that is. That’s a big thing for us,” Holmes said.

Later in the conversation, Robach reflected on the significance of the upcoming marriage, noting that it will be the third marriage for both of them.

She explained that their past experiences have given them a different perspective on relationships and a stronger appreciation for making the most of their time together.

“We want to maximize the amount of time we have together. We want to enjoy as much of that as we can,” she said.

Earlier this year, in March, the pair clarified that they had not secretly tied the knot despite ongoing speculation. Holmes joked that when they do get married, they will not keep it hidden the way rumors have suggested about actors Tom Holland and Zendaya.

Robach added that, married or not, their relationship already feels deeply committed because of how much time they spend together.

She explained that over the past three years, Holmes has become the person she has spent the most time with out of anyone in her life, saying they already function much like a married couple.

“We spend more time together — this is an absolute fact — than 99.9% of married folks. We might as well be,” she said.
