As an entrepreneur and investor, John Cerasani approaches the 1,000,000 follower mark on Instagram, proving he has become far more than just a gambling personality. Between successful business ventures, major investments, celebrity poker appearances, and high-profile casino sessions in Las Vegas, Cerasani has built a brand centered around both entertainment and education.
Known for his energetic personality and growing fan base, Cerasani has become a recognizable figure everywhere he goes in Vegas, often being stopped by fans who want photos, advice, or to share stories about how his content has helped them.
John Cerasani’s Smart Bet On PopUp Bagels Is Paying Off

One of Cerasani’s most successful investments has been PopUp Bagels. Back at the 2022 Super Bowl in Los Angeles, longtime friend and sports business analyst Darren Rovell introduced him to the opportunity. Initially, Cerasani viewed the brick-and-mortar bagel concept as a long shot compared to the tech-focused investments he was used to pursuing.
Still, he trusted the vision and entered the company at a $10 million valuation while it was still in its infancy. Four years later, the company has exploded in growth and recently attracted Tiger Capital at a reported $300 million valuation. Cerasani said, “Tiger is growth-oriented, so who knows how high we end up going, but it’s been one heck of a ride so far.”
John continued, “When I analyze an investment opportunity, I don’t just consider the financials. I put heavy emphasis on the founder and whether or not I believe he is someone who can see this vision through.”
New Ventures Continue To Expand
Cerasani is also involved in the Ballers Chicago project, a luxury membership-based sports and social club opening inside the historic Chicago Board of Trade building. The concept combines golf simulation, pickleball, wellness recovery, premium dining, and social experiences under one roof.
Ballers Founder David Gustadt invited Cerasani to join the project’s general partnership after successful launches in Boston and Philadelphia. As for what’s next, Cerasani teased another upcoming venture by saying, “Well, I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but keep an eye out for Kickstand Cocktails. I’ll just leave it at that.”
John Cerasani Wants Fans To Gamble Smarter, Not Harder

Unlike many gambling influencers focused strictly on flashy wins, Cerasani has built a following by emphasizing strategy, discipline, and understanding the math behind casino games.
Recently, he hosted a Virgin Voyages cruise alongside 75 qualified high-limit casino players and followers, creating an interactive experience centered around gambling, entertainment, and community. He also participated in a celebrity poker tournament benefiting the American Skin Association alongside Michael Phelps, Justin Timberlake, Brian Urlacher, and Wayne Gretzky.
John explained, “I enjoy gambling, and I enjoy entertaining. Being one of the first to ever be allowed to broadcast online at many casinos is truly a feather in my cap. I’m proud of that. Additionally, I’m good at it and understand the math. I believe I am really helping people learn how to actually stand a chance at the tables in Vegas.”
One Helluva Week In Vegas

In early April, Cerasani reportedly won at every casino he played during a seven-day stretch, including sessions at Circa Resort & Casino, Wynn Las Vegas, Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa, and Plaza. He also finished third in a celebrity poker tournament at Wynn before being eliminated by Kyle Juszczyk.
When asked what it’s like getting recognized everywhere now, Cerasani responded, “I love it. Especially when they approach me with something specific. Like a lesson they learned or how something I once said has helped them.”
John Cerasani Says Fan Recognition Makes It Worthwhile
As Cerasani’s following continues to grow, so has his visibility, particularly in Las Vegas, where fans frequently stop him for photos, advice, or to share how his content has impacted them. Between business investments, celebrity poker appearances, high-profile casino sessions, and educational gambling content, Cerasani has built a brand that stretches far beyond the casino floor.
And for him, one of the most rewarding parts of the journey has been hearing directly from the people following along.
