Brad Pitt misses out on another major milestone!

The superstar was visibly absent at his daughter, Zahara Jolie‘s, graduation ceremony over the weekend, adding more salt to his wounds about his kids dropping his last name like it is hot.

Brad Pitt’s daughter publicly ignored mentioning the actor’s name while she delivered a touching speech at a previous mother-daughter brunch hosted back in April.

Angelina Jolie was joined by her sons, Knox, Pax, and Maddox, who touched down at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, to show support for Zahara as she graduates.

The girls were also not left out, as her sisters Vivienne and Shiloh also graced the event to celebrate with her.

Zahara’s mother looked super stunning in a grey coat and heels combo, as she found her way into the auditorium to praise her daughter.

Alongside her father’s absence at the ceremony, Zahara’s name was also read at the ceremony as Zahara Marley Jolie rather than the hyphenated version of Jolie-Pitt.

As shared by The Daily Mail, Zahara was welcomed into the fold by the former couple in 2005, and now she has graduated from college with a major in psychology and a minor in educational studies.

As April closed up, The Blast noted that Zahara gave her audience an inside look into her close relationship with the “Salt” actress, which almost moved her audience to tears.

The latest graduate spoke at the Pearls of Purpose Foundation alongside the Nu Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority at Spelman College.

Zahara admitted that when it came to expressing or grasping the depth of her admiration for her mother, words would fail her.

The media personality continued that she and Angelina share a unique, almost kindred relationship that cannot be put into words.

Zahara reminisced about her upbringing as an adopted kid and growing up surrounded by love, strong values, and a family with an indispensable bond.

She praised that actress for raising her with principles like compassion, kindness, personal growth, and positive values that help her navigate today’s complicated world.

The 21-year-old continued in her speech that her mother is a fountain that continues to show her what selflessness, love, and understanding nature look like.

While it was challenging for her to grow up in the public eye with private moments constantly getting chipped away, she highlighted her mother’s unwavering support.

Zahara referred to her mother’s humanitarian activities and how they have shaped her outlook on life. As a result, she detailed how she stepped up to take care of her siblings due to the example set at home.

The media personality did not shift the attention away from her mother the entire time, as she concluded that she grew up to become a strong woman because Jolie has also shown immeasurable strength in raising her.

Angelina and Brad parted ways due to irreconcilable differences, followed by allegations that there was abuse involved in their relationship. Throughout the course of their relationship, they welcomed six children before ending things in 2016.

As reported by The Blast, the “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” actor’s friend broke their silence on Maddox dropping the Pitt name and adopting the “Jolie” name instead.

Brad’s friend claimed that the campaign embarked upon by the kids is proof that there are intensified moves to separate the Jolie-Pitt clan.

In the actress’s 2024 project “Maria,” where Maddox served as a production assistant on the Netflix project, he used his old last name. 

In 2024, Vivienne also chose to stick with the “Jolie” last name in the credits of her mother’s musical and production debut, “The Outsiders,” where he worked as a production assistant for the first time.

However, Brad is still optimistic that his biological kids, including Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox, would find their way back to him once the whole chapter closes.
