A week after NBA player Brandon Clarke was found dead in the San Fernando Valley, his finacée, Amber Lorraine, has broken her silence. On Instagram, she paid tribute to the Memphis Grizzlies star with an emotional post, admitting she felt lost without him.

Lorraine poured her heart out on Instagram following the death of her partner, Clarke, who was 29.
“There are no words to describe this feeling,” she wrote. “I never thought I’d have to live life without you. I’m not really sure how to do this without you by my side.”
Lorraine called Clarke, who was drafted by Oklahoma in 2019, the “most special person with the biggest heart” before touching on the number of people he impacted.
“I have never felt so loved and cared for, you made me feel like the most special girl in the world,” she said.
Lorraine Reflects On Brandon Clarke’s Many Abilities Beyond Sports
In her post, Lorraine gushed about how impressed she was by Clarke, calling him a “man of many talents.”
She went on to highlight his skills at “gaming to writing [and] making music to flying to the hoop with ease.”
Lorraine called Clarke, a Gonzaga alum, “one of the most giving and selfless people” who “always [made] sure the people around you felt loved and taken care of.”
She added, “Especially me.”

Clarke died on Monday, May 11, 2026, according to a previous report from The Blast.
Members of the Los Angeles Police Department said that officers responded to a call in the San Fernando Valley around 5 PM.
After arriving on the scene, officials pronounced the 29-year-old dead. While the cause of his death is still unclear, authorities said they were investigating Clarke’s death as a potential overdose.
The news of Clarke’s sudden passing was confirmed by several outlets and his sports agency, Priority Sports.
In their tribute, they called the 6’8″ power forward a “gentle soul” before saying their thoughts and prayers were with those closest to him.
Clarke’s home team, the Grizzlies, also posted about his death, calling him “an outstanding teammate and an even better person” who had a significant impact on many.
“We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time,” they said.
Lorraine Writes About The Many Things She Misses About Clarke
Elsewhere in her post, Lorraine gave her followers a glimpse into her relationship with Clarke, sharing the things she misses most about him.
“I miss your silly jokes and childlike wonder,” she said. “I miss your laugh and the way you made me laugh. I miss your big arms wrapped around me. I miss waking up to you by my side. I miss watching Harry Potter together with our favorite snacks. I miss the way you’d look at me. I miss how happy you’d get when I made your favorite breakfast, and you’d scarf it down and ask for seconds.”
Lorraine confessed that her world didn’t feel the same without her finacée, calling him “everything to me and more.”
“The day you proposed was the happiest day of my life, knowing I was gonna spend the rest of my life with my soulmate,” she continued. “We were supposed to be married soon and eventually start a family and live on land with a bunch of animals and a garden.”
Lorraine wrapped her post up with an emotional statement, writing, “All I want is to hug you and kiss you and to hold you in my arms.”
She finished, “I love you always Brandon, forever and always, please keep watching over me, I need you.”
The NBA World Mourns Clarke’s Death
In addition to Lorraine, other people close to Clarke mourned his death. According to Us Weekly, Grizzlies star Ja Morant posted that he was “hurt” after learning the news. “Love you, broski. Gone way too soon.”
Jaylen Wells, another Grizzlies player, showed his respect, calling the athlete an “inspiring person.”
“Memphis won’t be the same without you. RIP BC,” he finished.
