The reality star addressed some situations in her life, including her failed marriage to Dakota Mortensen, her postpartum struggles, and the state of her shaky friendship with Mikayla Matthews.

Taylor Frankie Paul had earlier come for her friend and co-star on Mother’s Day, claiming she failed to provide her support during a tough period in her life, and instead chose to kick her while she was already down.

The media personality put her keyboard to use when she posted a screenshot of a very lengthy and emotional post about her decision to stay in a traumatic marriage. She admitted that all the blame was hers to carry because she failed to see the need to exit such a tough situation, especially when her kids are involved.

“To make it more difficult, I was scared to call for help or tell anyone because I was being reminded I would be the one in trouble, given I’m the one on probation already,” Taylor noted. She added that she was stuck in survival mode for years, battling miscarriage, pregnancy, postpartum, and horrible betrayals.

She continued that even when she decided to leave the toxic cycle of being gaslighted and twisted, she got “love bombed, then manipulated, threatened, and physically hurt.” Taylor did not spare her friend turned foe in the outburst, expressing that it was unbelievable for her to see “friends like Mikayla” come at her during such a heavy period, demanding an apology.

As seen in the post, Taylor declared, “Absolutely not. She can go kick rocks instead of kicking me right now.”

The Reality Star Insists Her Love For Dakota Mortensen Was Real

Taylor opened her lengthy post with an admission that she is fully aware that she is not innocent and has taken the step to admit that in court. She then stated that her former partner weaponized her current legal standing to unleash terror on her, knowing she would be silent about it.

The TV star counted her losses in the post, sharing that she lost most friends because Mortensen had gotten to them first, called child protection services on her, and dragged them both to court, all because she was done.

She noted that despite the difference between them, her love for Mortensen stayed the same, even if it was largely unrequited and did not involve her gaining anything back. Taylor added that a part of her also badly wanted Mortensen to be a representation of the version of him she had in her head, but that would not happen.

She concluded that the mask both fell off their faces and they were in the wrong, but there was no attempt from her to ruin his life, call the cops on him, or claim complete innocence as he has done.

Social media has definitely been an outlet for the 31-year-old, and she took to Instagram on Mother’s Day with a piece of her mind to her “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” co-star. After sharing images of herself bonding with her kids in the post, she referred to friends who have chosen to rub salt in her wounds. 

As noted by The Blast, she condemned the unnamed friends who blamed her for being upset and responding in a moment where she was merely human, emphasizing that not once has she called herself a victim. 

“What a snake friend just did to me in the public eye after everything she just witnessed…the lack of empathy and silence was loud enough. Did you see the hearing? Did you see the bruises? Yet she’s bringing up “picking sides”? Yes, usually you do for friends you know go through that,” the star declared.

She continued her rant by asking the snake friend to put herself in her shoes and detail how she would feel if she had gotten beaten up, been hurt while pregnant, had a miscarriage, and gone to jail. Taylor stressed that Mikayla could not relate to her suffering, which was why she took Dakota’s side.

Judge Called Out The Former Couple’s Violent Patterns

The Blast noted that during the recent hearing, the presiding judge made several sharp comments, making it clear that it seemed both sides were to blame for the continuing problems.

The judge noted that he felt the battle and supposed violence was equal on both sides and that their relationship always turned into fierce situations whenever they had an exchange. He then shared that Taylor and Mortensen operated a very unhealthy, toxic dynamic.

Speaking to the two directly, the judge emphasized that they must learn to co-parent peacefully, since they would be forever connected as parents of the same child. The judge was also concerned about how their behavior might affect their young child, warning that the way they currently handle disagreements could shape the child’s understanding of conflict in the future.
