Julianne Hough is turning heads once again after sharing a tropical beach snap that had fans completely divided online. The dancer and actress posted a sultry photo from Tavarua, Fiji, showing herself standing barefoot in the sand beneath towering palm trees while rocking an ultra-cheeky black bikini bottom that left very little to the imagination.

With her arms stretched overhead and the ocean waves crashing behind her, Hough served full island getaway energy as fans flooded the comments section with both praise and criticism. While many followers called the snap “perfection,” others questioned why the actress has been leaning so heavily into revealing bikini content lately.

In the now-viral Instagram post, Hough posed with her back to the camera, wearing a sheer black cover-up and tiny bikini bottoms during her tropical escape.

The scenic backdrop featured turquoise water, swaying palm trees, and a secluded beach, but it was Hough’s daring swimwear choice that quickly stole the spotlight. The “Dancing With the Stars” alum captioned the post, “This new hobby has become my whole personality,” hinting at her growing love for surfing and island life.

Fans immediately rushed into the comments section with fire emojis and compliments, with one person writing, “Perfection,” while another added, “Gorgeous.”

Not everyone was impressed by the revealing upload, however, as several critics questioned why so much attention was being placed on Hough’s backside. “So with all her talents, all the focus is on the cheeks? Why?” one commenter wrote.

Another person added, “When in doubt, put your a-s out I guess lol.” A third critic echoed similar frustrations, writing, “I was about to say the same thing. I love her as a person. She’s an amazing dancer, very talented, but lately all we see are posts with her cheeks hanging out. I don’t see why I have to see her a-s in every post.”

Back in 2024, Hough directly addressed critics after trolls flooded her social media comments telling her to “eat more” and “eat a burger” following a wellness video she posted online. Rather than ignoring the negativity, the actress responded with a lengthy message explaining that her health journey had actually transformed her body for the better.

“I don’t usually address comments like this but I’m going to say a few things about this video,” Hough wrote before discussing how practices like red light therapy and cold plunges positively impacted her overall wellness. “I’ve never been healthier or happier from the inside out,” she added.

While Hough now confidently shares bikini photos and beach snaps with her millions of followers, the actress previously admitted she struggled with insecurities surrounding her body, especially her legs. “I used to struggle with accepting my legs because they were more muscular than the rest of my body,” Hough shared. “Wearing jeans was really hard because they wouldn’t fit and they’d feel too tight.”

Over time, however, Hough revealed she learned to fully embrace the very features she once criticized. “But now, I am embracing them. I love them because I couldn’t dance without them.”

She also shared a message of encouragement for others struggling with confidence and self-acceptance.

“For anybody out there who is struggling with accepting any part of who they are (it’s obviously normal when you’re young), but realize that you should love your body, love who you are, it’s a gift that was given to you,” she said.

“You didn’t earn this body, you didn’t do anything, you were given this body, so love it, cherish it, take care of it,” the dancer added.
